  2. A sportfish specifically? I have a 2016 1850 Superhawk and so far i love it. Very versatile boat.I dont think youll have any luck with finding one around here, most of the used ones i saw were in Minnesota, Wisconsin area.could be worth the trip though if you find a nice one set up how you like it.

  6. glad I could be such a good influence. I guess that answered my question ...around noon the fish vacated the bathwater and actually started behaving like salmon again.I contemplated going deeper but I was fishing solo in my 19' aluminum and it looked pretty choppy out there so I stayed inside and tried to grind it out.
  7. ended the day 7 for 9. last couple hours the fish seemed to disappear on me. sounds like wherever they went crappie found them.
  8. thermocline is still 104 down but most of my fish jave come in 85 feet of water.pretty much an all spoon bite for me when I say all spoon I mean one spoon

  13. Can anyone report on conditions in the trench currently or what could be expected tomorrow. Debating whether to take the 3 hour ride tonight to fish tomo or not(my only day off). I see by the bouy data it's settling out fast but just wondering if maybe anyone can see from shore what might be going on out there.appreciate any info thanks
  14. I've caught them at the end of August from the piers with 72 Degree water temps calm winds and no sign of a turnover. it's just a matter of how much time you want to put in. regardless of temp a few do make their way in at night.during the day they're back out into 80-100 feet of water though
  15. so with high winds and big waves forecasted this weekend then settling down om sunday just wondering if anybody can, speaking from experience, say whether the fish tend to scatter this time of year as much as other times when they're not starting to stage? the reason I ask is cuz I'm thinking about fishing the East End on Monday but it's A 4 hour drive.everybody's got their opinions and I'm inclined to think yes, they do scatter, but I would like to hear from some people who know more than I do about it
  16. not sure never tried on here. if you got a cell number I can shoot them to you later
