  1. Looking at the reg sticker im thinking its a current picture. Damn, might be time for an upgrade
  2. Would you happen to have a part # so I can confirm it will work with my rigger?
  3. I would take out the rear bench put in The trolling board using the eaglefeet and make your friends sit in folding chairs.as a matter fact I did do that only I didn't have a bench seat in my way I had a pedestal seat.folding chairs only take up more space for the time you're sitting in them and they're surprisingly stable even when running.I'm glad I did the drawing board because it made my boat a whole lot more rigid and the board is wider than the boat so my six and a half foot beam boat fishes like a seven and a half foot beam boat in terms of rod/rigger Spread.just my 2 cents from my experience.I know it's a new boat and you're probably hesitant to remove anything
  4. Check your voltage for a hot boat condition though youre not running riggers it could still be an issue
  5. yeah I was out there with you last night to also fishing solo well I had my dog. Pretty much same experience as you had a lot of fish come up for a look out in 60 to 100 feet of water cut two small Browns at around six p.m and then went and shallow And trolled the pier head till 10 p.m. Without so much as a strike.tough going out there for sure can't find The Mature kings to save my life found one night last week in 16 feet of water and haven't hooked up since
  6. selling an older Riviera downrigger with brand new cable, line counter, attached rod holder, and clamp mount. $60 local pickup only
  7. if you look around on this site particularly under the walleye forum you should find all the help you need to get started. Just look for post dated around the same time of year even if they're from previous years it will give you a good reference Point.this site is a treasure trove of information you just have to look for it. Good luck
  8. Yeah I as out there with ya tonight.pretty slow for me found one good pocket of steelhead in 130 feet and that was about it.Went 3/5. No Kings to speak of trollEd all the way back in and fished the pier head till about 10 p.m. with no luck.oh well better than the skunk I got yesterday.Dipsies have sucked for me latelyall spoon bite
  9. Silver Fox is most likely right on with that though for me personally every day this year has been rigger Day rather than a dipsy day
  10. could also be worth it to check your voltage make sure you don't have a hot boat
  11. Yeah I had a slow day out of Rochester today. Had one good flurry of steelhead and browns about 75 down over 350 feet of water and then one 12 pound king in 300 feet but from 11am to 2pm didn't move a rod. Ended roughly 6/12 all on spoons of rigger. Dipsys with meat and ff didnt get touched
  12. Possibly a gill fluke hard to say without seeing it
  13. might be a little early for browns from the pier especially during the day. If you're not opposed to taking a ride the lower Niagara can be productive this time of year
  14. If you are unsure as to how to proceed you can download the manual for your motor online for a very cheap price you just gotta look around I think I got the manuals for each of mine for 8 bucks a piecethen just printed them out and put them in a three ring binder.good things to have even if you are mechanically inclined
  15. yeah it's likely your prop shaft seal which provided you didn't damage the shaft itself should be an easy and relatively cheap fix. Tough to say without actually seeing it though. Could also be simply that if your motor exhaust through the prop hubit could be two stroke oil that never got burned. Both of my Johnsons have oil coming from the exhaust to a small degree.definitely check your lower unit oil for fill level and water contamination and go from there
  16. Selling 1 used diawa accudepth 27 linecounter paired with a diawa wilderness 8' medium action rod. 2pc.getting rid of extra gear and dont need this. $50. Pick up only in greece area though I travel to avon daily.
  17. Pretty much whatever size you want. I use smaller sizes but just as often I'll just run spoons off the rigger. Doesn't matter what you put down there most days.the uv spin n glows and shorter cowbell rigs are what I use
