  1. I have a total of 6 Alphamar linecounter reels for sale.  Two of the reels are the 16LC model and 4 are the 20LC model.  They are all in excellent condition and I would rate them a 9 or 9.5 out of 10.  Four of them have mono backing with 100 yds of 30 lb power pro mainline.  The other two 20LC models have tufline micro leadcore on them, one has 5 colors and the other has 4 colors.  I will keep the leadcore if no one wants it.  I also have 2 Shimano TDR 8 foot medium heavy rods and 2 cabelas 9 foot dipsey rods.  I will sell them as a combo for 75.00 each or the reels separate for 60.00 each and the rods for 15.00 each.  Shipping extra.  Call or text 716-673-6614.

  2. I'm going to try fishing the lower Niagara tomorrow for the first time.  The plan is to drift for steelhead/Salmon.  I have a Fishmaster 196 with a bunch of tackle.  Which launch is best to use?    which area should I concentrate on?  Are there any good tackle stores nearby that I can stop at? What lures/bait are best this time of year?  Im assuming that most people use three way rigs to drift?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  3. I will be fishing Keuka lake for the first time next weekend.  We will be staying near the south end near Hammondsport.  Is there a place to launch down on the south end of the lake?  I only saw that there was supposed to be a launch by a hotel there but did not know if that was still available or not.  Also, any tips on where to start fishing?  I plan on trolling for lakers/trout. I have a 19' starcraft with riggers/dipseys, leadcore etc.  I usually troll for walleye on erie and any help is greatly appreciated.

  4. I bought two of the Cabelas AGM 30 series for my 80 lb terrova.  So far they are working well, although I have only had them a few months.  I also use my terrova to steer along with my kicker for propulsion.  I have to turn mine up a little higher than Slammin does though, in order for it to steer well I have to turn mine up higher than he does.  I think that is due to the higher profile of my Fishmaster in the wind.

  5. Trorun, what kind of performance were you getting with your setup?  I am picking up my 196 from them in a week.  I have the same motor and am requesting a reliance SDS 14.25 x 17P prop.

Disregard, I found your previous post in regards to the performance.  I will post mine after I break the motor in.

  6. I can't help you on which paint to use, but I am going to clear mine with Dick Nite S81 topcoat.  It was made for this and it is what they use to coat their spoons. I am going to try painting mine with Createx water based paints.
