  1. Stealth core for me, too! I've had the same problems with tuff line as far as breakage
  2. I'd go with the 27s. You could get away with 17s, but the 27 will give you more versatility if you decide to hit big water. As far as rods go, a 7'0 med action will work just fine with boards, I run ugly stiks, the old cal 1100s (which are discontinued) and the new gx2s.
  3. You can put heavy weights on a snap. I've used up to 8oz. Light spinning tackle isn't going to handle that kind of weight though.
  4. Ok are we talking about bottom bouncers, the noun, or bottom bouncing, the verb.
  5. I run big jons on my boat. Well made, good company to deal with. They offer the slim line tracks, which are 2 1/2" wide or so.

  7. I have tattle flags too. The swivel is a nice easy add on. Its nice when removing the board with a fish on

  9. Never thought of doing that. Mine are set up like this, front clip is a church front clip, back is the red offshore clip, on a swivel, with a small split ring connected to the eye screw.
  10. I run the gx2s 7'0 med with dipseys, they bend, but they've lasted 1 season. so far, so good.
  11. Ugly stik 7' med Cal 1100s or the equivalent gx2 model. Covers everything I do
  12. Here's a really interesting 3 part article that pertains to this study. http://www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/The-man-with-the-salmon-plan-b99397807z1-284550491.html
  13. BS, if i have to take drug tests for work so should the salmon!
