  1. Nice job. Otisco from narrows to dam is now frozen over. Not sure how thick but definitely not fishable. Was hoping to be out by mid next week but the upcoming weather is far from promising. Anticipating the ice to melt next week Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  6. Not necessarily. All depends on the fish. If you are looking to release, and have a livewell, you could probably put them in there and see how they are acting Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Fished otisco from the boat yesterday. Very slow. Managed a tiny tiger, a small bass, and a big perch that smacked my jerkbait Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. I'll probably shoot down to the causeway this weekend dependent on weather. I got the option Friday to either take the boat out on otisco or go to my buddy's private and slay the jumbo perch... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. Yeah, it seems like tigers are the better bet right now. rbochan, any luck down on the causeway? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Who else is still bass fishing? I've been reduced down to about 2 days a week now due to weather and it getting dark so early. Bite has slowed way way down. Got a couple the other day but didn't manage and today during a brief stint. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. That's awesome. Wish it wasn't 7 hours away [emoji58] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. It is. Not sure if fenwick made one at one point or another though.... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. There's always one dud in the bunch. I've bought now 6 of them and I love all of them. And they get fished 4/5 times a week....still Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. The HMGs are excellent mid price rods. They feel like $200+ rods in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. Hey guys, curious if anyone had one of those green curado g series reels. The ones with the black handles and plastic drag star. If anyone has one they'd like to sell, please let me know, preferably left hand. Whichever gear ratio is fine, just gotta be the green curado g series with the black handles and drag. 19. Just wanted to give a follow up - fished the Lews Team Lite today for awhile and it was everything I could have asked for in a reel. Just gotta see how she hold up no Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Dylan, good choices. Let me know how the defender is, I have been wanting to try it for awhile. Such a cool looking rod Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Moonfish, I have 12lb flouro on it. And ya, I have free spooled and have messed around with a lot of break settings. I got the Lews in the mail yesterday, and boy is it light. It's like a feather when you put it on a rod. I'm hoping to take a few casts with it from shore today and play around with it if the snow doesn't keep me inside Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  23. Good to know Chowdaire. I'm looking forward to getting it in my hands. I think I'm going to use it primarily for swim jigs and senkos, but that's TBD Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. Only thing I didn't like was the grips. They are terrible. Easy fix though, buy $5 reel grips and it's suddenly amazing. I really only use mine now as it's gotten older for Texas rigs and such which it really isn't made for, so I don't get the best distance. But for what you wanna throw it should do the trick. 25. Great information. Thanks for sharing! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
