  1. Thanks for the report. It is a very senic area.
  2. I fished 4th back in 2016, we caught a couple lakers and a LL around 22" at this waypoint. All fish were very dark due to the tannins in the water like mentioned compared to Cayuga. I found it hard to make any kind of long troll due to the ups and downs of bottom. I basically did a bunch of circles at this spot. I would also check out the west end around Alger Island, some good deep water there too. Looking forward to hear how you make out. Todd
  3. I went out of Deans this morning. I motored down to Sheldrake and fished back north because of the sse wind. Big boards and stickbaits in tight, got a laker, a northern, a small salmon, and broke another big fish off. Water still cold, 44 was best I came across. 5. Here's a pic at Taughannock from thu morning. Kinda makes sense, 1 maybe 2 boats at a time with a dock to yourself for social distancing. They could do the same at Deans and Treman I would think. Checked this morning (sat) and the barricade is removed and there are 2 signs on the dock posts stating all launches are closed as of a certain time on 4/17. 6. Yeah, I couldn’t believe all the marks on the fish, but the biologist seemed encouraged that the treatments were working. He said that the creek will get treated again next year. At the bottom of pic where he is measuring a fish there is a small lamprey that came off one of the fish. Crazy little critters. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. I just watched while they were in Montour. The first sampling had 12 fish, 5 were clipped, most were hard females. The fish had alot of lamprey marks, but the biologist said it was way better than last year. He said most of the fish were further upstream and thats what i heard from talking to some other people there. The creek was 42 degrees. There were some 6 and 7 pounders with an 8+ pound spent female too. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. I have a 2016 115 Merc, did break in like you said and then started fishing. I have had no problems. I always try try to give it a good warm up and clear it out when I'm done. Probably just habit from 2 stroke days. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. There may be some debris in the Cayuga for a few days. Probably a few mudlines too! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  14. Fished south end this morning. Water level is fine at the launch, water still pretty chilly. 41.4 in front of fall creek. The pike fishing today was great! 7 northerns, a pickeral, 2 browns, and 2 salmon. Last hook up was a double, pike and brown, crazy. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  17. Have a Starweld 1800 Pro that I am setting up for trout and salmon. Looking at either Cannon Mag 10s or Big Jon tourney pros for riggers. Will eventually get a planer board mast, but am having a hard time finding a mast that I can get an adapter for that would use the pedestal socket in the bow. (Swivl-Eze 238) Will be using a track system for riggers and rod holders, but have not decided on what brand. May depend on rigger I go with. I will be fishing primarily Cayuga and Seneca lakes, with occasional spring and fall trips to Sodus and Oswego. Any advice would be appreciated.
