  1. I have been fishing lake Ontario since they put salmon in it. They are not that hard to catch don't over think it. The biggest trick is fishing where the fish are. And as far as learning fast best way is find someone willing to take you a few times to get the basics. Either hire a charter or befriend some one that fishes and can go with you or you can go with a few times. One of the problems is the spring brown trout fishing, summer fishing and fall fishing all are different. Take some time read up some and most of all you can't catch any sitting at the house get the boat in the water and keep trying. Good luck Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Fished out of oak orchard this am and fished to east got 5 browns and a small salmon. Water was really dirty but picked away at them. Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. If the 9 smalls are the 2f size I want them.
  4. I have owned Lowrance since the X15 paper units and I had 2 of mine go bad this spring, After dealing with customer service and getting no help except an offer to buy a unit at a discounted price to only find out it did not come with a traducer and by the time you added the traducer it was only $10 off retail. Now i will never put another piece of there electronics on any of my boats. Plus I have found most other brands are way more user friendly. If you want a lower end high feature units look at the Garmin units, and i had one dealing with customer service and they were glad to help me. And there unit is way easier to use.
