    Hey guys. I just wanted to put this out there. I was out fishing LO yesterday. I wasn't out there long enough to catch anything before she started to turn bad. I originally launched out of Olcott. By the time it turned i ended up pulling into Wilson. It was bad enough that trying to get back was a bad idea. I just want to thank the guys that gave me a ride back to get my truck even though they were having enough trouble of there own. They were pulling there lower unit off.     I was just wondering what you guys thought would be the best way to mount a cannon downrigger. I have a 1995 Spectrum Sport. I issue that I have is that the top of the Gunwale is relatively thin. There is nothing on the bottom for any support. I was thinking about a tracking system but not sure if that was really an option with it being thin. I appreciate any help.     I have fished for a long time but new to fishing the lower river and lake Ontario this time of the year. With having some ice in the river and the lake how much should I be working about my transducer ? Also I just recently purchased a elite 7 ti with the totalscan transducer. Where would be the best place to put it. With having sidescan a lot of people are saying to put it in the middle right behind the motor. The totalscan transducer is my big concern with the ice since it is not cheap.
