Anybody having any luck trolling shallow for brown trout and steelhead, using a spring brown trout program. Raplalas, bay rats, goby spoons?

Hey guys, has anyone had any luck fishing smallmouth bass out of the oak or areas near? I've heard a few rumors of big ones being caught 20-40 fow. Just curious.
