  1. Hey, nice Atlantic. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. I agree with Gill-T. Was running stackers a bit and then tried fixed sliders. I won’t stack again. Fixed sliders are much simpler to deploy and you free up two rods to use and tangle elsewhere. Just my 2 cents. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. Good idea on the ratchet straps. Or perhaps I should remove it when trailering. That’ll happen!! Probably will go with a hunk of aluminum. I did have the cable attached. As bad as this was, I can only imagine it failing and me dragging it down the 290 for miles. Thanks for all the replies. I figured some of you have probably felt a similar pain. Tight lines boys!!! 4. One teen in the box and trolling motor decide to take a swim in Lake Ontario. Didn’t end there. Net got caught on dock and bent it to hell. I suppose you’ve all had days like this. Didn’t get skunked though in this lovely east blow. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Why are you referring to rainbows and steelhead as different species?? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. Hi All. I have read all of these post and can’t help being envious of the relationships many of you say you have had with your fathers and your times together on the water. I unfortunately did not have that type of relationship. What I do have is a ten year old son and love for him that is beyond comprehension. I also have this unrelenting desire to fish and fish and fish and fish, much to my wife’s chagrin. There is no better feeling to me than heading out of port in the morning with my little guy Jack not knowing what the day may bring. The time we spend together fishing is what I longed for as a kid and I am so proud that I am able to give to my son what most of you got from your fathers. This time together is irreplaceable. I hope one day when he grows up he looks back and can utter the same sentiments you all have. Thanks for the inspiration guys!! Tight Lines!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
