  1. ??? Both the 9" Master & Slave are still available. neither has sold yet. $1600 for both units with RV-100 transducer & network cable.

The 7" was a third graph that I offered as an add on at $225 with the original two if someone wanted. Thought that one was sold but haven't heard back from that person.

If some one wanted the 9" Slave on its own I would break up the package, but to sell the Master before hand would make selling the slave a lot harder.
Sorry. Some how I either missed that or didn't get that post. Thanks

  2. Yeah Actisense has a lot of NMEA cords & hubs for sharing data on a network, not sure if if will allow you to control one brands device from another brand. Worth calling them though. Installation on all of this stuff is easy, its all plug and play for the most part. Its just making sure to get the right components to make it all work as it should.
Wouldn't you think that people who sell boats would have somebody in service department that would know these things. Problem is it is probably so much easier to sell customer on low end product

  3. Not sure you can, Maybe. That would be good question for Humminbird tech support.
My guess is to operate your Ray AP from your Helix units you would have to change out the Course computer, Compass & rudder feedback to Humminbird stuff. Should be able to use the same pump though. If thats the case not sure its Worth it though.

I'm not really sure. There is a product called actisense that will allow different marine units to talk to each other but any Marina's around buffalo don't seem to know about it and are Leary of getting involved

  4. Not at this point. See the slave unit needs to be networked to have all functions other than chart plotter. Makes its tougher to sell if someone buys just the master.
If you were to buy just the master w/transducer its about $1300 currently online. So a little more you get a second head unit ($1000 online)  and the network cable ($100) Plus a couple of Nav cards.
All the items I have posted in this package are New in the box, never used except the second head unit. About 2 months of use on that.

Thank you. My hope was to run my Raymarine ev 100 autopilot. I've been told that I could do it from my new helix g3 units but can't find anyone that knows how to do it.

  6. Alumacraft 205. I was in a johnson outdoors locally and the tech said they weren't servicing them any longer. Maybe he was wrong Im just going off of what he said.  I guess id call humminbird direct before you buy one. I suppose at some point theres a cutoff to servicing older units
I'm sure there is a cutoff. The reason I have humminbird is because after you spend a boat load of cash on a unit Lowrance expects you to throw it away and they will give you a hundred off of a new one. I understand the disposability of electronics but when I lay out cash I expect some life out of the unit no matter who makes it

  8. I have downriggers ,dipsy divers and lead core. I was hoping to simplify my presentation a bit by adding the b/b. I’ve been using sticks and spoons which caught a lot of fish, but the more I learn it seems worms are the go bait.
After fishing lake O for some 30 plus years I’m use to trolling at 2 mph and thought the heavier b/b would work at that speed pulling worm harnesses. There’s a lot of water to cover on Erie so when your on the hunt faster seems better to me.

I would be very interested in that dipsy device. If you don’t see the hit on the dipsies it’s had to tell when a fish is on.

Stilling learning about walleye fishing so I really appreciate all this great feed back!

The dipsey device came from Westfield tackle in Westfield n.y. 716-239-5062 or Westfield tackle.com. Used them all last summer and they worked great

Would any of these operate the Raymarine ev 100 auto pilot? Not familiar with those units. Thanks in advance

  10. If your targeting walleyes that deep please keep them ALL
We always keep deep caught fish. The rod will jump around like it does when you catch on most other fishing systems. I was skeptical myself. There is also a little device now that goes on a dipsey to prevent dragging small fish. Front rod gets removed and the little device goes on and it is spring loaded. Any extra weight pulls device down and dipsey's will flatten out and plane to surface. Sorry I don't have name of product because a friend of mine gave me two. I will try and find out. For those of you in Chautauqua county it came from the bait shop in Westfield

  11. Go with dipsy divers or down riggers. I fear you will drag walleyes a lot without knowing they are on with that much weight.

I know guys that are fishing bottom bouncers up to a pound in up to 100 feet of water. It works but they made there own. If you have a do it mold you can drill out where the wire goes to five thirty seconds and use stainless steel Tig welding rod. I got this idea at a Jim Hanley seminar at Niagara falls fishing show a couple years ago. They work well
