If you fish alone and need longer leads consider slide divers. Also use a small spro swivels that will past threw your rod and reel. With this setup you can run long meat rigs and land your fish by yourself. Good luck

I personal used my new smart troll to test my WS dive performance and it does or did.

The most notable issue with the extented line dive is that it is more sensitive to changes in speed and currents.

 I am saying line out of reel. WS on 19 wire will continue to sink. This lets one rod be more versatile.

Upon recommendations last year I added a pair of weighted steel to my program. This year I am running six with two more coming in the future. Shortly the copper may be gone. If you run them with 19 strand wire they will continue to drive at the same rate.

100 ws goes to 200

200 ws goes to 400

300 ws goes to 600

If you use snap weight the bottom the limit.

Over the years I have occasionally find super size bait schools. (Miles long) I have had limited success fishing these big schools even when there is clearly an active bite. I am interested in a tactics for fishing big schools.  Thank you

That's a good looking starter kit.

I have used the DR for 5 years with no problems. I fish with a friend that runs both and the DR is the one that you trust.

The DR refresh rate is much faster. I have my unit working down to 175 feet.

All good advice. I am ready to make it happen this year. Last year I fished with 6 new friends. A combination of chemistry and availability are hard to find. Thank you so much for your time and information.

A note to anyone that reads this I have a fully equiped boat with Garmin panoptic. I need full and partime team members. We will be in Wilson for the Spring LOC derby.

There are places on the Niagara  and the Canadian side.

I just reserved a house for the spring loc. There are several property management companies in the Wilson/Olcott area. I found them with a simple Google search. Many places available from 1 to 5 bedroom. Some with slips but not many. Good hunting. 

A am interested in a pole to determine if Jack numbers this year were up or down from the previous 3 years  Up or Down Thank you for the feed back. 

I am asking for your input in the developing a Fish catch record.  I am interested in improving my catch, land and

reduce failure rates. I also would like to better understand wx and fish reactions to the lake changes. If you do this yourself please share your thoughts. I hope to produce an app for my tablet.
