Hi Matt, I met you one time at the Fishing game club you were with Bruse. I just want to say thank you. I was in the black center console offshore you were in the back of the boat and you went up front and changed your direction. I appreciate it thanks again And I did very well on the Browns inside only had two bites offshore first fish offshore was on the 10 inch spin doctor two face. The meat head broke off second one on dw 42 second gold cup teenager

Ok what happens when you get a fish on the Slider . It goes down to the flasher that keeps rotating and goes all around your slider and makes a huge mess or breaks you off .

Thank you for your input I was taught over 20 years ago never put a slider over a flasher. They will keep spinning the whole time your bringing them in. A mop rig is two spoons, same color the main line has standard spoon. The stacked slider is a mag mag on top.

How long of lead off ball on main line and how high up should mag be ? Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Fished with my friend Larry Saturday in IBF and game club derby. Was the last trip in the Morningdew as it’s being traded in on a new to us used boat Monday. Left at 5:30ish and set up in 100 fow east of I bay . Slow start for this year got all 6 rods in and had to wait for first bite. Dropping the first 2 fish both on raspberry carbon down 80. Trolled down to hedges and turned back west . Changed the flasher flies out for meat rigs on the chinook divers number two setting out 185 and 160 . We’re east of shipbuilders in 130/140 found lots of bait and active fish. The 185 started going did very well on nice kings and some lakes. Mostly diver bits but did some on spoons dw two face and UV green jean. Had a cooler full of fish and decided to go in and try for smallmouth. While pulling rods slowly one at a time the 160 driver starts screaming out line. Pulled the rest of the rods and landed the wining salmon over 21 lbs. Bonus fist came in 22 fow off Webster Park flat lining 2 rod with some kind of lipped plug sorry forgot name.Only 15 min went by and one rod gets slammed with a 4 1/2 lb smallmouth.( another 1st place 😀 )

Fished just west of the river today for a few hours 100/120 fow . Was solo so just ran 2 riggers 1 diver .60 and 70 down was all DW spoons Roy boy was the star but NBK and rodfather took a few. Flasher fly out on the diver never took a hit. got one nice one on a free slider on the 70 rigger .Here’s some of the nicer fish. All put back for another day 😀

Set up west of the river fished down West of Braddock Bay and back 20 /60 fow .Went 9 for 13 everything worked spoons, plugs boards, divers, and down rigers 3 colored Led took 3 shots that was cool .2 browns 2 lakers 5 kings.
