I’ve heard some very productive captains make mention of importance of running the same spoon stacked (mag low standard high). I’ve heard most specify this tactic for early morning fishing with glow spoons, carbon14’s, etc - for first bite of the day. Usually chute rigger. Question is: is it more effective to run a stacker with each spoon on separate rod, or a slider (with the standard spoon being the slider)? Also, short leads or long leads? Run these deepest?? If stacking, distance between the two on the rigger cable??? Are these even viable questions or is there a different technique that works different days or for different boats?
