I had a similar set up but with two rollers instead of the V's as shown. The mount should rotate on that center bolt, so depending on the angle of the boat launch your using, that moves so the bottom roller catches the nose and sends it up to the top roller, it pivots when it needs to. I had a 23' fiberglass boat on that set up and that thing worked great. So i would add rollers and make sure it pivots on that center bolt, i suspect you will like it.

There are a lot of variables in your question, wind, waves, down currents, and more. On a calm, no current day its pretty easy to run several wire dipsy setups and on those days your most likely tangle will be from a crazy fish. On other days, pretty easy to have a massive mess. Best suggestion Get a good set of stainless wire scissors or cutters

I like the broomstick hook idea! I use a piece of old 12 ga wire I would need at least 5 on mine boat because i would be dropping those overboard often!

Lots of valid comments above I learned selling my boat a few years ago the boats, regardless of hull construction, that are inboards that are at or near 30 years old drop in price significantly. So i priced my by "piece", trailer is X, boat is X, then each piece of fishing add ons. Put a very fair "used" price on it, i would have bought it for what i was asking kind of price. Then ended up selling it for almost 50% less. Good luck with your sale

There are several dealers in Central NY that do repowers. If you check around most of them have used motors that they recondition and resell

I got this picture a few weeks ago, its a buck that was killed the first weekend of gun season. It came to me from a friend that knows the guy who harvested the buck, so not direct. I was told that there is a known person who shoots at the bucks at night with his crossbow with field tips. The deer had a nasty infection, so wasted meat but its being mounted, bolt included

for sale : usa Hogue Synthetic Rifle Stock
Salty Nut posted a topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
This is a Hogue overmolded Synthetic Rifle stock for a long action Winchester Model 70. Has aluminum pilar bedding post etc Simple to change from wood to synthetic, drop in, tighten screws. This is basically brand new, i had a Model 70 with the real nice walnut stock. Didnt want to mark it up hunting so i changed to this stock. Decided to hunt with a different rifle so back to walnut, dont need this. 90.00 dollars I can ship at buyers expense -

Dont know anything about that product. I had a fiberglass hull that had crude on it for a couple years, not just a water line but crude. Mixed this up sprayed on with garden pump spayer and 10 minutes, gone. Had a few spots that needed a second hit but i was shocked at how it worked -

Slimy Grimey is the best cleaner i have ever seen. The warm water mix per the instructions does matter too. I got this from a friend a few years ago, its a little pricey but its worth it! -

I fish solo 90% of the time so i appreciate your "solo" report! Your stuff is always enjoyable to read too. I think your paddle removal is very telling. At 40 to 50 down with your riggers you may not need paddles, especially in fairly clear water. They might spook fish! It may only be a coincidence but i found that 8# weights with some blowback at those deeps, 50 or above, seem to catch more fish too. I guess thats why its called fishing! -
Thank you Gator! And thanks for donating the rod too! I spin fish a lot so i am excited to try the rod! Thanks again

Water temp at 60ish down was just under 50 from about 90 feet out to 235 which is as far as i went. So i set riggers at 65 to 80. Until i go deeper. I run 8# riggrr weights. I like a little blowback, dipsys were 140 to 160, outsiders wete 3 settinh, wire line, 3 1/2" size dipsy. Caught fish at 100ft out to 160, bigger fish were hooked on 160. -
