    Interesting theory. I've noticed similar stress responses with my own house plants when I change their environment. Your prediction about larger salmon and fewer early spawners this fall seems logical if conditions improve. Epigenetics might explain the quick shifts, but long-term genetic changes are slower. I'd look at the Lake Superior data for comparison.

    I was in the same boat (pun intended) with my charter, and when my rates jumped, I started looking around. Ended up going with Lucky Penny Insurance. They’ve been good about keeping things reasonable for liability coverage. If your rates keep climbing, might be worth giving them a look. Helped me keep costs down without too much hassle.
