  1. 12 lb Cannonball Wanted Hi Gang, Made another donation to Lake Ontario today on the maiden voyage of the Sea Lion. Wanted to get a temp so I attached my Moor Sub Troll to my rigger with the breakaway cable holding the 12 lb ball. I can tell you the break away worked. Going 30 seconds on a troll when I saw the rigger wire go limp. GRRRRRR! Happy though it was the break away and not my sending unit. Anyhoot, now in need of a normal 12lb round cannonball. I live in Penfield but don't want to go too far out of the area. Thanks, Bob
  2. Fish Finder Hi Gang, Looking for a no nonsense Fish finder that has temp and speed at the surface/ GPS and the most important, great fish finder capabilities. I don't need color. I ask this since mine is OK but just ok. Suggestions? Again always the best info here, truly. Thanks, Bob
  3. No it doesn't Sent from my XT1095 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  5. Johnson 9.9hp Kicker Motor Hi Folks I am selling an excellent running, super smooth kicker motor for trolling. It's 1995 and with just one owner. I have taken great care of this motor doing all the winterizing myself. It starts on one pull. It even comes with a 2 year old OMC 6 gallon tank (filled). It's what you see in the photo minus the EZ steer bracket. Truly is a great motor and have no hesitation selling to anyone. $650 takes it. I am firm on the price.
  6. Like I said, always the best information on this site. Thanks all of you for sharing. BTW, I am going to keep the 3 gallon tank on board as well just in case. Tight lines! Bob Lyons
  7. How to share a fuel line Hi Gang, Always the best answers here. I have just purchased an 8 hp Tohatsu. I have an ancient but reliable 70 hp OMC engine. It has oil injection so it uses straight gas. I would like to t off the main fuel line but looking for suggestion on how to do this for my new four stroke. Thanks, Bob
  8. WTG!!! Doesn't get better than that. Bob

  15. Hi, Thanks for the response. I had a 6hp on another boat and it was like a micro click to find the trolling speed. It was either too slow or fast and difficult to find and maintain the sweet spot. I was really asking is the range enough in this motor that the sweet spot is larger than what I had in the 6 hp. Thanks for your response and any others. Regards, Bob
  16. Will this kicker work? Hey Guys, This is my question. I have a "long in the tooth" 1995 19.5' Sea Nymph. It is a great boat. I have a 70hp Evinrude on it as well as the main engine. It gets me to the fishing grounds but at about 25 mph tops. That's ok. It runs great. I have a 9.9 1995 Johnson 2 stroke. It has been a great motor however with all the older stuff on the boat, I was contemplating the idea of a 8 hp 4 stroke Tohatsu. Will it be able to troll the 1.5 to 3 mph? Looking for experience? Thanks, Bob
