Anybody got pictures of there set up? Especially berts track system, I am leanin that way for spring.

Thanks guys Yeah I got notified by the outfitter yesterday, I won 50 dollars towards a return trip. I am not sure if my father and I are heading back to that one or switch it up and find someplace a little closer. THanks again for all who voted!

I would be willing to do anything to help. Even ask for donations from people at my work, or go door to door for a couple hours on my days off. I would go with the heartlands as well, hands down! I have the 10 fters and love them for a wider spread as well as keeping them away from your riggers when resetting lines or tight turns. They are a bit heavier than the 8 fters and storage mite be an issue. I keep the 2 pc rods connected all year and lay them down the center of my boat when trailering. The best part about the 10 ftrs is watchin the kings hit, that rod reacts great and sets the hook perfectly.

TO all that have the TR-1gold tiller autopilot please jump in on this one. I came across this on the GLA website and was very curious about it. The cost is rediculous but if it works as good as it says its saposed to I will take the hit. Any one have this unit? I am considering all options over the winter. There is also something a friend told me about rigging a sailboat piston style autopilot up to your kicker that is way cheaper?! Anyone know anything on that? I have a mechanical drive (brandnew)teleflex system to an 87 120 hp johnson, but my kicker is a 2001 9.9 4 stroke merc that ties in with a bracket to the main engine to steer it no throttle control from the drivers seat. It wouldnt make sense to run the autopilot back to my 120 hp, i just need it to control the kicker when im trolling. Any reccomendations?

I would like to see some of your boats that are set up with Berts. I am going to rig up my 21 fter this winter and know what I would like to do, but these Berts stand up rod holders mite make me change a few things. Can you guys post any photos of the back ends of your boats, how you have them set up and explain about them. I had my 17ft nice, but the 21 is wider and have some more options. 2 or 4 riggers? where to mount the rod holders. Transom bar for a center rod holder? I am going to get some pictures of the back end of mine before I put the boat in the barn for hibernation.
