  1. I have told this story a hundred times to my buddies and could not locate the first picture in the post. Then the other day I realized it was in my old cell phone while using it. The first picture was taken 3/12/06 on my buddies boat casting for browns with an x-rap in front of slater creek. The second picture was taken 4/2/06 on my bass boat while flat line trolling a storm stick bait east of Irondiquoit Bay almost to Webster park. I knew right away when I caught the fish that I had caught it about a month prior. It is kinda cool how you can see the lamprey bite healing and the slashes on the tale healing also. I thank you all for your opinions and thought it was a cool story to share.
  2. I am just looking for anyone else's opinion on if they think like I do that these fish caught about a month apart and about 8 miles apart are the same fish. Thanks.
  3. I am just curious what the old fashioned way is? I for one think float fishing is great. Have caught fish bottom bouncing and with lures but love the control of a float setup in a river. I do have to admit though, catching these fish on cleos from the piers is great also. It is a close call for me though, watching your float go down or getting a rip on a cleo. Both ways are good methods but when you are in a river or stream float fishing is the way to go, in my opinion.
  4. I happen to be down at the genny this weekend and found a grappling hook that looks exactly like that one with 100lb braid on it. It was almost the same size as my palm. Wtf
  5. we were just making sandwiches when that was filmed.
  6. I was starting to wonder this myself. The first year I got into trolling was 06 and it almost seemed easy that year. 25 plus pound fish being taken almost every trip. That was the year a 38.14 won the derby. This year started off with a 23 fish day on April 27th out of the Niagara River. The biggest being 24lbs. The following weekends for the spring derby were spent in Niagara with good numbers also. Since then I have barely had any luck with the matures in the Rochester area.
  7. might make some of u sea sick but check it out
  8. For those of you who fish the genny does the 6 mph speed limit end after the last marina on the right? I have been possibly gambling and runnin the bass boat full throttle after turning point park and was wondering if I am in danger of being ticketed.
  9. During the regular season just make sure you have no more than two rods per licensed fisherman in the water and you will not have any problems.
  10. Looks like you got a triple on video. Now you and I need to go for a quadrouple on video.
  11. Thanks guys, with only three people on the boat it was a bit tough. I love the single handed net job done by my buddy Mike. When the other videos are done I will be sure to share them with you all.
