Once again regulation is not the answer. And this goes for changing the regs for Browns in the tribs also. If we are looking to increase steelhead populations then we should be looking at stocking practices. A few examples- increasing stocking numbers, provide more fish for pen rearing, premium food for hatchery and pen rearing (this has been addressed). By the sounds of it the quick answer is to regulate what we have when we should be looking into investing in a better product to begin with. Fix the problem and not with a band aid.

November 30 pm 28 degrees NE wind 10-15 mph Partly Cloudy Well this sit was a bust. Zero movement. I checked the camera on my way out and zero mature buck since the opener. November 29 am 29 degrees N wind 5 mph Cloudy Quite a few deer this morning. Bumped a single deer walking in. Bumped a stinky buck getting into my stand. By the sounds of it he was bedded 50 yards or so from me. Had a few deer walk through in the dark. Saw another 6 does/fawns after day break. I also got a picture of a piebald squirrel. Cameras are showing the best movement of course is in the dark. I think it's time to hunt from the ground and start getting away from stands. seriously considering sitting this am out...

November 27 pm 43 degrees Cloudy SW wind 5 mph becoming 20+ with gusts 35+ Not a ton of deer movement this pm. Had a doe fawn in the field when I was walking in. Had another fawn in the woods behind me about 430 or so. And last but not least, I saw a young buck under the neighbors apple tree when I was walking out.
