fished from 830pm till 1130pm.the river was really moving made boat control hard for me since i was fishing solo..only switched out lures 5 times but couldnt find what they wanted..landed a 3lb smb and thats all..and so long 4 now;john

545am till 11am..8-24fow..3 smb and 3 snakes..and wow did the wind blow...40+ yrs of fishing for eyes and the 1st time ive been skunked on opening weekend..not a great start of 2014..and so long 4 now;john

oneida lake.6am till 1130 am 3-20fow.....got skunked..3 pickeral.2 sheep 1 smb..no eyes..never saw a eye caught..fished larkin and wilson point.along with lakeport bar and a few unname shoals..and so long 4 now.john

thanxs for the input..if the gold is in 50+ fow how the hell do you find them????the amount of aRea is HUGE..its tough i know but ..70 fow..i woulldnt ever thought to look the deep for a fish that ought to be shallow staging for the spawn..why would they go that deep////..

my father and i tried again for the perch and had zero luck[1 perch].fished from 630am till 11am..20fow-'8fow..did find where the pike where and caughr 5 with the biggest being 34in and fullof eggs..great fite on 4lb test line..never saw a perch caught by any boats around sampson or 2 miles north of there..tried 12 different locations just couldnt find the fish....and so long 4 now;john

on the water ar 630 am off at 1145.25 perch .had 4 richards come by me or i wouldof caught more..gave 2 of them some grief..it just dumbfound me hom some can be so inconsiderate..and the yahoo barking ..SHOOT EM...very smart...but its the price you got to pay for the L.I.V. OUT THERE..the world revolves around you..on the glass is half ful part of the day ..it was a beautiful day on the water after a very cold start..lots of rubber was left on boat ramp by other vehicles....and so long 4 now;john

can some one give me info on where to buy???or has anyone tried the plastic version...was taught today on how to fish them and the guide who showed me gets his own...thanxs in advance..and so long 4 now;john

fished from 1pm till 630 pm..lots of dinks 7 keepers with the largest 13in..vo trips on 5 flags..sorta discoraging..had the bay all to my self after2pm..great sun set!!!and so long 4 now ;;john

fished from 630am till 11..with the wind i did not move around..stayed in 32fow..vex was filled with fish all day just dinks..no live bait..just plastics and slamos..cant quite find the keepers..going to try again..plenty of ice and it was rock hard...anyone finding the bigs???and so long 4 now;john

TENACITY or STUBBORN..its just something i wish i could figure out,,its like trolling 4 eyes in lake O.IT CAN BE DONE and the folks who do well keep a tight lip..i know tigers are caught in cross..i just not sure you can target them..and so long 4 now;john l
