  1. Went 8-12 Couple of Kings around 19 lb. Dropped a couple of bows between 8-10 lb. and a monster brown at the boat. Also took a bunch of smaller kings and coho. 180-210 fow. 24-35 down. nbk, orange crush, chicken wing, purple thunder ss. Hottest lure was the NBK. Took both big kings. Everything came on a NW troll. 2.2-2.3 at the ball. Early was hot. when the wind died down and the rain came, the action slowed down. it was a slow pick by 8:00. Good luck to all.
  2. We went 8-8 in 3 hours this afternoon. Cohos and Kings. 40 and 60 on the riggers. DW SS Frogs and Lemon Ice. 140 FOW was the ticket for us. Will be out tomorrow. Good luck.
  3. No pictures. I forgot the camera and it was hard enough netting while driving a smaller boat in those conditions. We put them on the boca grip and that's how I got those weights. The really big one was a chore because it broke the stick in half in its mouth, so we just wanted to get it back in the water. I will try to get some the next time we go out. Really good mud lines. The best fishing was at the entrance to cowsucker right after the point in 6 fow. We took one on all four passes and then called it a day due to the NE wind.
  4. Went out of Sandy yesterday. 5-6 in two hours. All browns 8-10 lb. and one monster that ate the entire stickbait. Clown bombers off the boards in 6-8 fow. We were out in 2-3 footers in our small boat but those waves seem to produce larger fish. Will be out next week regardless of the ramp situation. Good luck to all this year.
  5. Rob, It's good to see that your unnamed 28 spoon is still going. I may have to accidentally troll really close to your boat sometime so that I can figure out which one it is. Jeremy My Mink
  6. Went 4 for 9. Most of the action was before 8 AM. All big Kings. Lost one over 30 lb. close to the boat. Anything with green went and our bait rig went 4 times. 40-50 ft. down out towards the trench. Jeremy Miller My Mink
  7. Thanks Foster. It's always a good time when we get together and fish. This was a fish of a lifetime for me and will be mounted on my wall at home. The Oak gets a lot of attention but Sandy is as good a place to fish as anywhere on Lake Ontario. Jeremy Miller My Mink
  8. We are always in catch and release mode unless it's a weigher for the Derby. I'm such a catch and release guy that we threw back a monster Laker during the first week of the derby. We didn't think it would last the leaderboard even though it probably would have taken 3rd place at the worst. Foster Miller from School Master was with us and always reminds me that I was the one that threw it back twice (we swung around to revive it a second time because it was such a nice fish). 9. Rob, We went out in the washing machine Monday afternoon and did three kings and a bow in an hour and a half. (2) Flasher/Fly, NK 28 DL Kevorkian/ DW M&M/ 15-30 down on the riggers. You just couldn't troll into them by the time we got into the fish. They were there but boat control was horrible with the 20+ MPH gusts out of the west. I could have handled the 3-4 waves out of the west but the wind just made it impossible to get back over the fish. Hopefully, we'll see you out there Saturday morning. There seems to be a window of opportunity during that time to get some fishing done. Jeremy My Mink
  10. Foster, We will be fishing the derby on a limited basis. My father is out of town on vacation next week and I'm not too keen on fishing by myself. Too many things can go wrong and that water is pretty cold out there this time of year. Jeremy My Mink
  11. Foster, The channel from the Marina into the creek isn't bad at all. The only thing you have to worry about is boats coming back into the marina later on in the day since they have the right of way. If you want to know anything else about Sandy Creek Marina, feel free to give me a call at 585-797-4312. Have a good one. Jeremy My Mink
  12. Foster, It's $35.00/ft. You can get ahold of the owner Bruce at 964-8189. It's been a really positive experience for us so far. Jeremy My Mink
  13. Hey Foster, Channel 72 is the norm for the Sandy area. Hopefully, we'll see you out there on Saturday. If you don't see us up at East Fork it's because we moved down to Sandy Creek Marina. We'll give you a shout if we see you out there. Good luck this year. Jeremy My Mink
  14. Rob, The Pursuit will be in the driveway next week and the 17 ft. Lund won't be too far behind just in case the dockless state launch is our only option. Have a good one. Jeremy "My Mink"
