  1. Fished from 6am -10am. landed eight fish 12-28+? #'s. Most were in the twenties. Second time out for the year. My Dad and brother were with me. Found best fish in 130 East of the mouth. Had 54-59 degrees down 90 feet. Didn't turn on best screen after doubling due to Dad had business meeting and had to be back at the dock at 10am. Second best was 140 in front of pump house. Speed was 2.5 and all fish came between 70-90 feet down Glow frog NK 28 took 7 of the eight fish. Missed a few pics, but here are some. Bass are taking a back seat this year Big time!!!! 2. Correct Mike, behind any type of flasher or dodger. Tank.
  3. Thanks UpGrady! Always good to see smallie reports. How long of a lead off the bottom are you fishing when using live bait? I experimented last year with a full two foot lead and I smoked the smallies in heavily gobie infested waters!! Just curious . Thanks. Tank
  4. Thanks Yankee! I placed the order last night!! Tank.
  5. Can anyone tell me if the massive amounts of "atomic" flies on the current LOC leaderboard for Salmon are the same as the "A-Tom-Ik" ones. I did a search for "atomic" and only found "A-Tom-Ik". Just getting back in the big boat game and am currently outfitting boat. Thanks in advance. Tank
  6. Hey Gator. Not too late for the bass spawn, although it has been a strange early season. The surface temp shot up so quick last week, but the fish are acting like it's still a "late" year for peak action. Probably not a thorough enough warming deeper still. I landed two 4#ers today, but if the bite was as good as the chasing I would have had a 20+ fish day. Most of the follow ups and strikes seemed to be from 14-16 inch fish. The bigger fish were either not around or inactive. Strange year so far. Thanks for the temp readings previously. Tank
  7. Just have to release them..but I always do even in season. Tank
  8. Actually, you can fish for smallies year round now Tank
  9. WOW!! That's cold! Thanks for the info. Tank
  10. Gator. Cool report, have caught some landlocks throwing also. Awesome on the big smallie. What was the temp? Were the smallies caught fairly deep? Will be there soon to catch those pigs!! Thanks in advance. Tank
  11. Got out for a couple hours tonight with a friend. Water clearing and the #'s were not biting, but managed to get 7 fish. 8 feet of water on R&R spoons in monkey puke, green/silver and chartreuse/silver. Couple of bigger fish tonight. including this pig! Absolutely beautiful night on the water...tight lines. Tank
  12. Thanks Doug, I thought that is what I did, but maybe not. Will make sure next time. Tight lines..Tank
  13. Can someone tell me why these loaded the way they did instead of in order...Thanks in advance. Names are screwed up too. Tank
  14. Have been wanting to learn this for some time now. Here's a few of the fish from this weekend. Tank brother Jon Me Brother Dan
  15. Forgot to mention that no fish on Saturday had lamprey marks, but several did today. Also, my brother kept a few today to eat and they spit up several gobies in the livewell. Gotta love that!!! Tank
  16. Sounds good fishinman. Had the same exact day today as yesterday! Only difference was the brother that went along and that the bite was early. Shut down with the wind pretty well by 10:00am. A few more lost hits today. Almost went deeper to see if I could find something bigger, but it was hard to leave the numbers. Tank
  17. Fishinman. Thanks, perfect spring conditions today! Won't be out on a weekday again until possibly after May 7(mostly business). I almost posted Thursday for a partner for Fri. I go out of Sandy mostly and will dock bigger boat there this summer. Keep in touch. Cool profession! Tank
  18. Fished Fri morning alone and did 7 browns and one big smallie. All fish but 2 came on f9 rapala in firetiger. Fished today with my brother and literally lost count!! When I pulled the boards in there were 36 releases on them. Almost solely a spoon bite today..firetiger f9 did hold his own for the sticks but spoons was the ticket..so was 8 feet of water. Mostly browns 3-8lbs, but did lose one screamer that I beleive was a king and one steelhead. Most fish came on r&r spoons in monkey puke and green/silver. Temps were 45-47 degrees and speed was 1.8-2.2 mph. Very nice color to water. Started out with long leads off the boards but tightened them up as day went on. Will be back out tomorrow. Get out there everyone! Tank
