Opening week started with a wicked cold and even though I hunted it wasn't the same. Took this decent, thick 10 Tuesday the 29th at 2:45 pm. As a side note I had 2 mature Does 40 yards from me opening day as I was coughing up a lung into my Cough Silencer and they never knew I was there! I thought it was pretty gimmicky but man does it work!

Congrats to everyone who has scored this season! I had two great opportunities at shooters during Bow and blew both [emoji22][emoji1787]. Had another I couldn't stop for the shot as he was on a mission. Opening day I saw 6 mature Does and 2 fawns before this guy came along at 11am. Shot him at 40 yards. Good Luck to all out now! Spot and stalked this bedded Buck yesterday. Got within 50 yards of him where I took the shot. Real homebody that I have been after all season. Had a few bigger ones on camera but for several reasons this Buck drew most of my focus. Live pic is 1 of only 2 Daytime pics I got of him. Congrats again to everyone who has scored! Till next season. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Lake Ontario United mobile app

2020 Rescue Buck, yes Rescue Buck. After having an amazing season and passing every 2.5 year old in the woods and some close calls with some Big ones I had my #1 Hit List Buck 70 yards from my stand today on a Doe. Well after watching them for an hour and not being able to call to them due to 2 smaller Bucks bedding closer to me, they moved on. As the morning went on I had some decent 2.5 year olds come through and a few Does. At 11am I see this Buck come from my thick side and on a direct line right behind my tree. He was a good Buck with 75% of an arrow sticking out above his back leg. I knew he was mature and the injury at the hands of another sealed the deal. Shot him at 10 yards and he only went 30. Stood there for a minute and crashed to the ground dead. I am Happy with him especially because of the Injury. That arrow was through his back and down through and out of his stomach just grazing his gut. I know good hunters can make bad shots but it wasn't fun to see. Happy he had a quick death instead of suffering. My Boy Aiden is holding him! [emoji106][emoji1018][emoji1662](Text copied from FB page) Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
