  1. Nice. Gonna give it a run tomorrow. Never had a "bad" day at Hemlock.
  2. Went down for a few hours on Friday. Got one 4 lb. laker. 35 ft down in the NW corner. Kind of a orange crush colored Stinger spoon. Beautiful day.
  3. Got a bunch of time off coming up. Gonna start my assault on Hemlock for the year. Anybody been doing anything with the trout?
  4. The F.F.'s had their 16th annual pike derby at Conesus today. Had a little rain early, but it cleared up nice later. Fishing was slow as the water has warmed up to the mid 60's. 40 or so guys and gal caught about a dozen fish. 1 Tiger Musky. 8 Lbs was the winner. Mine all came on live bait under bobbers or on the bottom.
  5. Anybody have info on this? I saw it in the D&C this morning. June 5&6 I think.
  6. Let us know what is decided on that and post it before the tourny. Should be fun.
  7. Are there any trout tournaments this fall?
  8. Good to see you got one. Is that a toaster you tow that boat with? Nice CROCS. You kidding ya. Keep up the good info.
  9. Maybe pick up a couple of Dipsys. You don't have to go as far as buying wire. Mono works, or a brade is even better. That rigger should be fine. You should be able to make the 50 or 60 ft. pretty easy. Stack one above the first line. Wish i had more time to fish. Back to work.
  10. Back at it this morning. In front of German Bros. 2 small lakers and 2 rainbows. Lost a nice one on a green dodger gr. Howie Fly. Also broke it all off. My 8lb. Hemlock leaders are too light I guess. That was a good fish. Again Orange, Copper, Grey, Green Stingers and Chrokodiles. 50 and 60 ft down over 100 to 140 ft. The wire went off the most.
  11. What ever I'm doing to put pics on isn't working.
  12. Launched at the N. end. Ran down to about a mile south of the CYT. Started with green and oranges. Had a screamer on the wire in 5 minutes. Broke off the only green glow dream weaver I had. 120 out on a 2 setting. Caught 3 more rainbows, up to 5 lbs. down 60 to 70. Usually running in the 100 to 140's. All 3" Stingers or Crockodiles in orange or brass color. Got a HUGE smallmouth 50 ft. down. 23". No scale. My best ever. I might put a spin & fly rig down tomorrow, but this stuff worked pretty good for my first time there. Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it. Pressures on tomorrow. I have guests aboard. If I ever figure out how to put pics on, I will.
  13. Thanks a lot. I'll let you know how it goes. What channel do the guys use there?
  14. I'm taking a couple friends to Canandaigua this week trolling for trout. I'm on the lake quite a bit, but never fished it. I have pretty much Ontario equipment, riggers, wire etc. Can you give me a little help on approx depths etc. so I can show em some fun? Thanks
  15. I should be getting out Thurs. night or Friday. Not looking forward to the surface weeds.
  16. ??? I don't see it. Where is it?
  17. Heading out of town for Sat. I guess I should have put a couple spoons up shallow! I saw a bunch of bait right on top. I was trolling over a point between the bluffs with a TON of marks on it. Never could pop one. See you out there.
  18. pretty much one pier that I know of. Go to Seager Marine and keep right. Brings you out there. Probably just pan fish etc.
  19. Was that you I saw down by the bluffs around 6:30? Dark color dual console w/ 2 motors? How far down were you setting the lures?
  20. Trolled down the west side. Marked a ton of bait and fish marks. All I could pick up was a double on smallies just north of the first bluff. Pretty fun. All on the stingers again.
