  1. Great day on the water, except for one sea sick participant. Starting marking fish on the way out in 80 fow so we decided to drop some lines right away. Hooked up in the first 20 mins with a mid teen king. Went 5-5 with the biggest being 21 lbs. Bite was all spin doctors and flashers with a-tom-mik flies. Green/glow crush with crazy **** fly produced the best. Down speeds were around 2.4-2.7. Most of the fish came in 120 fow 60-70 foot down. Down temps were 60, but right on a break of where it dropped to 50
  2. Anyone know what kind of knot is used to attach the treble hook to the single hook? bunch of my flies have frayed leaders and i need to replace them

  5. Lake was super rough yesterday morning, so we decided to stay in the bay and give it a try. We heard a report that the browns were in there heavy. Well we didnt get any browns, but we did manage 4 nice steelies and 3 big pig sheepshead. Fished in between the markers and bridge in 50-70 fow. Fish all cam between 20 and 30 foot down. Chartruesse and yellow were the magic colors. Not a bad day for 3 hours of fishing

  10. Great afternoon couple hours out this afternoon, minus a couple rollers coming of the side of the boat. Once the lake laid down, the fishing turned. We went 3-5, not bad considering there was only two of us and you couldn't take your hand off the wheel for longer than a couple seconds. We headed west out of the bay and tried to follow the real distinct mud line, but we didnt mark a fish the entire time, so we decided to head back east. As soon as we got past the pier, we started marking fish. We were only in 30-45 FOW with one ball at the bottom the and one about 25 feet down. All 3 fish came on spoons, green/glow, and black and purple. Surface temp was 49-51, no clue what the down temps were, our sub troll is getting fixed.

  17. Yeah, we had balls down at 30 and 32. So in the second pic when its tracking the rigger and it turns red, that's a fish following it? Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Looking for a suggestion on what rod holders you guys prefer? i have a 4 inch wide track on either side of my boat that is roughly 36" long.
  19. We are newbies to this sport, and are trying to figure out what certain marks are on our screen. Are these fish, baitfish or nothing at all? And how should we tell the difference?
  20. Had a pretty great day on land and the water. Shot double jakes with my buddy in the morning and got into the kings a little with his brother in the afternoon. Went 4 for 7 with one laker and a skippy in the mix. Fished in between the bay and shipbuilders in 35-55 fow just running riggers near the bottom. Hooked the two biggest kings in 50 fow with our lines at 44 foot, 60 foot back. Any spoon with black in it seemed to be hot for us.
