i really wouldn't mind paying an extra 10 bucks personally as long as it ALL went back into the fishery...the way the state is right nwo i dont blame them if they need extra cash...we have an awesome fishery 29 bucks is well worth it to me...surprised to see such negative comments...all the stocking, creek renovations, fish surveys and shocking costs money.....the state does a ton for us $29 a year is very little for the hours and hours of enjoyment we all get...not trying to stir the pot just my 2 cents
lennybones.......your a trip man keep posting youve brightened up 2 days in a row for me....just crazy to see that somebody is actually that narrow minded to bash somebody for something legal and effective for catching fish even if it isn't up to your standards
happy you cleared up the regs for me.....and i am all for people taking home dinner .....the 5 bait/lure per pole thing i didn't know about but by having those extra rods they would be able to cover more ground...instead of having the 5 minnows on the same line....dont want to go in circles im all for it on the lake...but on shore or piers would add to the problems i think
htis whole thread gave me a good laugh....dont float fish personally for trout but for pike with a big chub under a bobber relaxing with your buddies waiting for the monster to attack that is a ton of fun.....i just look at it as who cares what the other guys are doing as long as its legal focus your attention on snaggers and people who are actually doing somethign wrong....to the float guys more power to you if thats what you enjoy you shouldn't be critized for it
on the lake or finger lakes....guides will make clients catch more fish and non guides will be able to use differnt lures/presentations to see whats working
i guess i will be the first that said no to comment why.....i am a shore guy i would think out on the big lake 3 rods ok....but i would hate to see some guy at trout streams or bass ponds or pike creeks with 3 guys 3 rods with 9 minnows/worm whatever bait.....they can sure put a hurting on a smaller body of water fast.....a creek i go to with great walleye fishing in spring and fall i run into a "group" of guys 2 guys with their 5 rugrats.....10 poles 10 minnows...and they take the their limit and the 5 kids limits ....the kids aren't fishing and im sure they bring them just to get the extra fish/poles in the water.....have ran into them a lot over the past 5 years and the spot has been gettign worse and worse.....ive seen them walk out with 15-20 eys quite a few times..........i would not care the least bit about you guys on your boats.....
stan brings me great enjoyment seeing your posts keep em up....looks like our bows are a little bigger.....but yours aren't toxic ....keep up the great posts
wanted to do some ice fishing this year there.....supposed to nice good population of perch crappy bass walleye northerns....just seeing if anyboyd has fished it and if its worth checking out...its located in the alabama swamps..thaknks in advance
just wondering if legal or not if you need a harness or can just hook em through the mouth....i was told recently they are illegal which bummed me out considering they are killer for just about any predatory fish
went for some eyes at night.....4 eyes 2-4 lbs couple nice 8 lbs cats and a big fat northern 34" all caught on minnows ....pretty good for a couple hours..seems the action is just getting better and better as of late at this spot.....tried a bunch of differnt baits and lures but all thats been working our some big chubs
