  1. probably hasn't drilled a 100 holes. bought it at oneida over 10 yrs ago. had back surgery follow summer. didn't ice fish for 10 yrs. bought smaller one last yr. starts up and runs great. shaft in v.g.c......for some reason it vibrates and doesn't cut the greatest. maybe out of balance or something. if you already have one great for parts, motor, shaft, etc. or maybe could be fixed if you're handy....100.00..or make offer...roch., n.y.

  2. you don't need open commuication :?: why are observers needed in the pro but not ametuer division :?: polygraphs work for everyone. from what i've read on here some don't know any retirees and don't have the luxury of fishing the prefish events and need to pay for an observer.

  3. i think the culling rule sucks. the observer rule sucks. and just the fact that everyone is so peronoid about cheating sucks. at least on the pro side with a 12 fish limit you have a better chance to average out. with 6 fish on the ameteur side on the west end leg of it you might as well just round up the team captains and march down to the nearest covenience store for 6 quick picks. i like the prefish 3 fish rule better for the a.m. side. you're 3 biggest fish and that's it. if people want to sneak over to the canadian side so be it. just an opinion from someone who doesn't fish it but has been reading about it and following it on here for the past year.

  4. i just read the papers and watch the news channels like everyone else and don't claim to be an economist, hell i don't even have a collidge educaion but isn't this the 2nd. round of bailouts? a.i.g. already received 85 billion about a yr. ago in the first 300 billion round which obviously wasn't enough and this 85 billion would actually make it 850 per person. and that's just a.i.g. and it ain't over yet. fannie and freddie are even worse examples. eliminate them from the equation and i might start to warm up to a real "rescue plan". not trying to sound like the grinch who stole chrismas because obviuosly something needs to be done to stimulate the economy and loosen up the credit markets but as hucklebee said, why would you want to give you're money to the same people who burnt your thansgiving turkey to cook your christmas dinner?

  5. i actually like that pic better than your first one. looks more true to it's weight and it shows it's color nicer to. beautifull fish and i think you got it. would definately be more confident than any of the other division leading fish if it were me...good luck

  6. i'm sticking with between 36 and 37 and 29 the bottom. hopefully someday the 40 pounders will return but i'm not real optimistic about it. back then in 2 different fall eslo's we weighed in 34lbs. and change kings that didn't even place at the end. be great to connect on one of them now. it's still a great fishery and i hope we can maintain what we got.

  7. wow....you mean you're going to drive right thru rochester without even a try.according to the survey 10 against 8 it's beating the oak.my guess is 36+ takes it and 29 the bottom. what's everyone think the bottom will be? after all let's face it that's what we're really hoping to make.also i'll predict 16 or so of the 21 will come sodus and east...as usual.i'm fishing the entire event out of rochester and have been shining up my cowbells and peanuts for 2 days.

  8. great job on the double pleasure unit and you to pops for your success yesterday. much better than i did the past couple weeks.....as far as the lakers go i have to agree with fishinman, i wouldn't probably go out and target them normally but do during the derbies and actually did in the spring which we ended up with 3 on the board. on top of that my friends boat ended up with 3 also including the 26+ pounder that they caught on the last day and ended up being the #2 fish entered and what they thought momentarily the grand prize winner. pretty exciting stuff for them and considering 6 out of the 20 places were weighed in by 2 boats is nothing to sneeze at. as far as largemouth bass fishing goes.....to each there own i guess.

  9. it was a tough tourney for us. saturday the flies.....sunday the waves and a slow pick thru out. had the late shift sat. and only 4 in the box at 4:15 when the dipsy went at we brought in our best one at just over 8 lbs. we were straight out front in 80 f.o.w. a very lucky brek as that fish gave us just under 28lbs. and made sunday still interesting. didn't matter ended up with a 7 pounder and 2 small ones yesterday. didn't bother weighing in. oh well.....still alot of fun and theres always next year.

  10. thanks skipper....just got back last night from a bumpy day out of dunkirk. never ice fished conesus but it is a beautiful lake to fish during the summer....weekdays. we got them both trolling the north end on j-11 rapalas. what surprised me most was catching them right during the early afternoon.
