  1. Boat is for sale, I can sort of get around to show it somebody on weekends
  2. I just got home from complete knee replacement yesterday so I'm going to be a bit slow getting more pics and getting back to people. Boat is at 1028 County Route 10 Norwich,NY if you want a look. The winter Curtains are up and she's dusty but you will see that this is a good buy.
  3. Priced now at $5700. It is completely set up for trolling and jigging as follows: 40 hp 4 stroke Mercury main motor + 5 hp Mercury 4 stroke kicker ( 2 years old) Lowrance GPS/Sonar Fishhawk w/ X-4 probe- older monitor Sport Pilot Autopilot Complete set of custom made winter canvas+ light weight summer bimini modified for 2 main batteries + perko switch. Either 2 cannon manual riggers or 2 cannon mag 5 riggers 2 sets Heavy duty stainless dipsy rod holders 2 sets 3 rod trees for planer board fishing Planer mast + Otter boats There will be a complete set of rigger/planer rods/dipsy rods Minn Kota power drive bow mount. It has always been stored in a barn so its dusty right now but dry like it's been all it's life. First $5700 for this complete setup. (FYI: The kicker, curtains and autopilot add up to 5 grand) This will be an opportunity for someone to purchase a complete turn key setup for trolling. I still have a Starcraft Islander all set up to fish that I am keeping. Just time to simplify my life.I've been on the LOU since 2008 so I would appreciate serous inquiries only - not interested in parting out; Thanks
  4. Yeah, we've had good catches on the browns by turning at the Fort and trolling the American side shoreline.
  5. Anyone have any luck jigging Lakers this time of year near the Bar. Planning to take a swipe at the Kings in the lower river and would like to have a backup plan if this warm up holds on.I can also throw some trolling gear from the Islander into the little boat but was hoping for something different.
  6. Alas no 800, it's a 600 copper I got from Tommy Allen back in the day. When a king hits it though everybody dives for the front of the boat.
  7. Let's go up to Skinny in the Little boat and flat line it w/ streamers on some whippy ML 8's, my arms are killing me!
  8. Really hammered em. Stop by anytime man!!
  9. Wow. Put a real drubbing on the Lakers and Atlantics today on the diagonal between Atwater and Sheldrake. Nearly constantly had fish on from 8 to noon on 500 and 600 coppers(mostly lakers) and the riggers and divers were steady producers of LLs. Hottest setup for the LLs was Mag diver out 180 with the LGBT purple mirage FF combo and the 90' and 110' riggers w/ monkey puke and bloody death spoons, Most of the lakers came on the twin 500 coppers off the boards w/ mag Diehards and Gator spoons and the 600 copper down the chute with a pikeball 65' back and the rod up in the arch. The 600' copper was pulling a Mag Green Thunder Glo spoon by Yek. Lost track of fish over the transom but it was a pretty epic fingerlakes trip for sure. And now off to the Deer Woods for a bit.
  10. Too bad you aren't going out tomorrow -I'd lend you some ff combos to use
  11. County 10, 10 miles on the left out of Norwich, saw somebody towing a fishing boat slow way down on their way past this morning(my Islander is in the driveway) SE wind is going to stack weeds up thru the middle of the lake. E tonight should push them more to the west side
  12. The braid will work fine-don't sweat it at all. If it's a reg large diver put it on 1.5 and let em out 210 and 250 and let the fish do the math from there. hint: you'll probably have to let the shallow one and maybe the deep one too out a bit- just run MTn dew or green spinny's or protroll flasher /fly combos on em
  13. Thought I saw you guys going by the farmstead this morning, how did it go?-Andy
  14. you'll want to run wire divers w/ a reg large size dipsy out 240' or Mags out 160-180' or so at this point- the temp is deep. The LLs will hit em too! watch the little guys though they won't trip them often.
  15. I'm fishing tomorrow, will give detailed report from the lake LIVE (or perhaps from the Lucky Hare in Hector shortly after hauling out). We will start at Myers like last week, sticking to the middle heading N and if the middle is cold we'll work T-Falls, AES/Atwater, Sheldrake, etc. I need some lakers to smoke but usually get enough on the diver rods so the bulk of the spread will be set for LLs,Bows, etc.
  16. Looking to get challenged on Friday fishing what looks like is going to be a moody east wind sort of day, but it's the day we got so...Actually I like a challenge and our expectations will be a appropriately low so it should be a good time before heading into the ARCHERY TUNNEL!!! - Andy (Blue/White Islander-'Emily' for at least 1 more before breaking out the 'winter boat')
  17. Son holding net at back of boat when confronted with the angry atlantic on the main blasting back and forth near the kicker and the bow on the cheater jumping back and forth over the rigger wires- "What the hell would you like me to do with this mess Dad?"
  18. Yeah, it's nice but I should have made it fatter, tends to vibrate and get stress cracks at the junction of the risers to the cross piece but we just weld it back up again..
  19. If I didn't have 2 kids in college this boat would be sold. I looked at it when my Islander was at Hank's this summer for repair and is is perfect. And I mean perfect.
  20. Lol Ken, The big bow came on the rigger at least. Most of the action was deep.
  21. Wtg. Gotta love happy clients. Whooped em pretty good ourselves today. Great post!
  22. Back on Cayuga. Lakers& Atlantics on 90 rigger, Bows, browns and Atlantics on core and more Lakers on 500 copper and the port diver pulling BW meat (other diver w/ spinnys was dead for us)
