  11. had a decent night for the little time out. started in 50 fow and had a good screen until 100 fow where it went blank. got a double at 90 fow 5 lbs brown and 23 lbs king. both on black betty (my black and chart). then a few more small kings anywhere from 40 to 65 down on riggers. north of creek. good luck all
  12. had a great day in 180 fow down 55 to 65. gator stingray, black betty, and 42 sec spin doc/fly combo. 180 fow with an east troll down speed 2.5. numerous doubles landed 8 or 9 steel head, and the same amount of salmon. one was 22# and the other was 23# we did lose 2 more big ones at the back of the boat that i could see were the same size. all but 3 were released nice and healthy after pics. Thanks to jay from Trout n about. your cooler tip worked well fresh water in the cooler to revive your tired fish.
  13. wow great thread. i would do NK purple thunder deep and nbk in any size
  14. make the turn: Fishing Report ============== TRIP OVERVIEW 8 am start started in 60 fow on nw troll no takers till 120 so we stayed 120 to 220 fow for most of the day. pretty steady pic lots of steelhead on top 50 fow antifreez and coyote were the best with the infamous black betty doing good also. lost a big steelhead at the back but it seems like the big ones will get away all year most all hits were on the riggers missed one on an 8 color, and one on wire diver. just a tip from us stay close to those color changes all our hits were within feet of those scum lines. and there is alot out there. good luck
  15. early afternoon trip only action was in 340 feet of water 15 lbs steelhead on pink nbk. down 40. nice fish
  16. slow pic today. cold water. found some fish 70-100 fow north of the pumphouse. 40 feet down on Black betty was the hot set up 4 releases in 30 min same lure. heard some other reports of kings out in 350 fow.
  17. great day out of sandy in 100 fow north of the pumphouse. 5 for 8 all different colors nbk was the best down 50. Got a 8 lbs rainbow with an egg sac hook in its fin. finished at noon
  18. Put down in 80 feet of water east of the creek to avoid the crowd. The fish were all over but the go to set up was for lakers. 60 to 90 fow, 70 down, purple thunder on the riggers. (A great screen to watch) while catching lakers we lost many salmon and steelhead. red stick baits on the boards, and anything with an atifreeze back on the riggers. A great day, 17 to 20 releases. Just needed a better percentage of fish in the net.
