AFTER NOT GETTING ANY HITS ON MY 125 FEET OF COPPER THE LAST 2 TRIPS IVE ADDED TO IT AND NOW HAVE 225 FEET WHICH OBVIOUSLY GETS ME DOWN DEEPER IN THE WATER COLUMN. MY QUESTION IS ABOUT HOW FAR DOWN WILL THAT GET ME? ITS OPTITACKLE .037 IN DIAMETER. THANK YOU

Woke up late hungover just couldnt get with the program. Had lots of tangles . Was a very tough troll. I did manage 1 laker.My partner Bill who takes the port side of my boat however was able to start the day with a nice steelhead along with 3 more lakers and a nice king as seen in the picture as Bob is reeling it in. The king came on a dipsey green spinny fly combo.3 setting 300 out. I also had a nice screamer on a dipsey but the fly was not tied properly. my bad. The lakers came on his rigger down 122. Bill and i are pretty competitive and today he kicked my butt. Braddocks seem to be pretty hot right now in about 150 to 200 found some nice cool water down 120 with quite a few hooks showing up.Ill be back at it soon ====================

It was a while before we got into them but we did. We found a patch of water that must have been loaded with steel head about 220 feet of water. Ive mentioned an NK green thunder before. It doesnt work all the time but when it does watch out. It works best 30 down to 50. beyond that im not sure. We took four fish on the dipsey spinny flys today. Wow finally. Imsure from here on in those are going to be hot. But the winner was a spinny siggs fly that took a nice 18 king 140 down on a rigger. It took my buddy about 20 minutes to boat him. he had a bundle of energy. We also hooked up with another screamer with the same set up. that only lasted about a minute.And now its time to go clean some fish.see you on the water. Had a couple of screamers on for not too long. 1 hit a getter done but the drag was not set properly. gawdangit . the big guy of the day was a12#steelie. we kept hin because he didnt make it. All other fish were released. No hits on the copper today although got a couple on his leadcore 5 color. Is this an atlantic? 2 hits on the dipsey but nobody home. White chilly willy gets a mention silver streak magnum. also glow frog nk.We trolled 100 to 300 feet out and then trolled in where we picked up 3 or 4more surprising warm water. Again didnt see too many boat. Thats ok more for us. I had autopilot installed last year. wow what a useful tool for precision trolling.Riggers were the way to go today. 30 down to 125.See you on the water ====================
