  1. I am having an issue with a Quicksilver throttle assy on a '99 trophy . It has become increasingly moving harder. Last weekend it was very tough to "bump" up or down 100 rpms at a time trolling  . Use to move smooth, now notchy. Its nothing in the cable or throttle body but right in the throttle assy. Anyone ever have one apart or serviced them? Idk what grease or lubricant to try. Any help appreciated , thanks !

  2. ahhh, dads old seth green rigs....up in the garage ceiling collecting 20 years of cobwebs and dust   always wondered if we should put them to use again sometime. Does anyone run a "jug" anymore? Growing up we ran 2 off the boat and two way back on an antifreeze jug to keep them away from the other lines and the boat. Fish ALWAYS hit the bottom leader it seemed lol

  3. Started out of deans cove about 7am. Dad, my buddy Jay and myself. Very busy at the ramp as well as dense fog. Set up right on the waypoints from last trip , just south in 160 fow. Had pretty steady action most the morning. Riggers 50 to 90 down did the work. 8/9 on the morning. All landlocks except one small rainbow . 3-4 lbs biggest , nbk stingers and blue dolphin spin doc ,atomik tournament fly took two biggest fish being the biggest Off the water by 1030. 2.8 to 3.1 gps speed. Beautiful morning after the fog lifted. Had a good time and lots of laughs. All went back except two for the grill.

  4. Nbk spoons in Dreamweaver and r &r spoons all sizes hit fish for me as well as mountain dew SD , mirage fly . All riggers , not one diver shot. Went to just 4 on the rigger , setting alone I could barely keep up lol. Electric riggers saved ALOT of time lol.

  5. I think I saw you out there, I was in the trophy. We did 7 landlocks, lost about the same amount as well as one small mouth 50 down on the rigger on a ff. Great trip, dad's first out after his heart attack, he was feeling better and on the rod most the time ! We were running faster too, 3.11 gps speed seemed to be the magic number
