  1. Ray , ray , Ray When I was younger I use to fish the Ocean and rivers for 30,40 50 lb Kings. The iron board worked great. Never had a fish lay over both ends.If it did , that part was cut off .( We used it for fish heads and rice ) now that last part Ray was a joke Ray Now that Matt has asked me to come out in July, I hope to meet some of you yanks.
  2. I love it, a friend of mine had his set up in the front yard. I asked how mad his wife would be, he was using her iron board. He said he got his at a second hand store. It really is slick, It's a wonder there not sold in tackle stores across Americe. I have a flex hose with a shower head on mine that adjusts
  3. The best cleaning and cuttin board money can buy, is an old iron board. The one that has the grill top. Fish will not slip and the fluids drip through to the ground. You can take the garden hose and rinse it off on the lawn.I found mine at a second hand store for $ 5.00. Your back will not hurt from bending over, just adjust the board to your height. I know Ray you think this is a joke as well, but it is not...
  4. The trains out here do. They even went right through Wongs home office and onto the field behind it. Also boats with out drain plugs float. There is also a movie star on every block. 13. There is a lake in California call Lake Oroville. It's the only lake in the whole state they stock Coho's in. In the winter , you have a hard time getting below the little guys to get bigger fish. They are a real pain in the rear.
  14. When you say flashers, do you mean dodgers ? cowbells,or stright flashers. I use cowbells for mackinaw ( lake trout ) only and for kings have always used dodgers 00 size and some 12"

I have in the past used the white color
  16. Out here on the west coast, the Kings are going to start staging in the next couple of weeks. My question is, what do you all find better. Spoons or stickbaits for these staging Kings ? 18. No problem, sun on it's way. Send us your rain . Our lakes are vary low the last 3 years. The flatlanders are going to be in a hurt for water in the summer of 2009
  19. From way out west, we call lake trout, Mackinaw. The way I fish for them is a 6" white Grand Slam Bucktail with a large wiggle fin on the nose. 26" to 30" leader with a Gold flodger. Off the 15lb ball is a 180' set back. Trolling speed 2.2 to 2.4 mph For stick biats I use the Cisco Kid Husky or the Wrangler. Off the downrigger ball of 15lbs a set back of 180' to 220' We find cowbells and such will move the fish away or not bite at all. Trolling speed 2.2 to 2.8 mph Just a west coast 2 cents worth
  20. Well I headed to my all time favorite small lake today, looking for browns. nothing but rainbows. Not even as big as yesterdays. But thought you guys would like to see some pictures of here, in the north country The lake is down 20'

  23. Yesterday my good friend says lets go fishing at 2:30pm . He had his boat and I had mine I got there at 3;15pm . We hooked up over 24 rainbow , all where released but 8. All caught on Silver Streak spoons. Just thought you guys would like to see are north lakes. Were about 65 miles from the Oregon Border
  24. Just about dark, everynight I get 35 to 40 wood ducks the drop out of the sky onto my ponds. Yesterday morning arout 7am a flock of mallards locked wing and landed on my middle pond. Sorry guys no hunting, just looking. We also get deer and black bear on the property
  25. I am know expert, I just got into dipsy divers last year as well. I started off with 30# braid ., on two of my rods. Oh let me tell you about the tangles with the downriggers. But after asking , how to set the dive. It was a cake walk. Three months after I got a okma wire rod and 1,000 feet of malin 30# wire , Daiwa sg4lca reel. I have always use line counters to get me back in the strike zone. Man your goin to love them after , you master them. I now get more fish off the dipsy divers than my downriggers. Still do not know why yet.
