  1. Any other trade offers? I'd also take some working Penn downriggers in trade (preferably manuals with swivel bases and rod holders).
  2. Updated; also looking for a 15-25 HP 2 stroke tiller motor that runs good, can be an older motor, as long as it runs good and parts are still available (1980 and newer?).
  3. I didn't notice if the plate caused any maneuverability issues the couple of times I used it. And that was before I replaced the springs, and my shift mechanism and cables. I do burn more gas if I use my buckets or Amish trolling bags.
  4. No worries, and no hurry. I understand getting pulled away. I worked on firewood for 8 hours yesterday and only put a small dent in it, so there's plenty of work to keep me busy.
  5. John, I can't make that determination yet because I haven't seen any pics of the other canoes offered yet. So I'm just waiting to see some pics, but no hurry.
  6. My son and I went to Cranberry Lake (launched in Wanakena by the Ranger School) in our little boat today and caught a half dozen perch, but only 1 was eating size. The wind was crazy there too. The fishing was good from 6:30-9:30 this morning, then it turned off fast when the wind cranked up. It's good to see some salmon caught out of Henderson yesterday.
  7. If you can you send pics, I'll pm you my email and/or cell #.
  8. I would also take $400 for the boat and everything listed so I can buy a used canoe.
  9. I'd be interested in seeing some pics if you can email or text them to me. I'll pm you my contact info. PM sent
  10. More pics. The boat weighs 125 pounds, I'll measure the beam today. Stainless hardware used to mount the transom wood, as well as Boat Life caulk to seal the holes. It's a real stable boat for fishing or hunting. Max rated motor is 15HP.
  11. This boat is on CL for $500, so I am giving LOU members a big discount and taking a big loss. *I'm looking for a 15-17ft canoe, preferrably aluminum. **I am also looking for a long shaft tiller outboard motor between 15-25 HP that runs good. ***I would also consider trading for some good Penn manual downriggers with swivel bases and rod holders. This 14ft boat doesn't get used any more because I replaced it with a 16ft boat. It's a 1974 Sea Nymph model 14A Car Topper, it doesn't leak, I painted the outside of the hull but not the inside. I added new transom wood last summer, which is sealed 3/4" marine grade plywood. I had a local welding shop repair one of the rear corner braces because it was broke when I bought the boat. One of the front carry handles was also broke off when I bought the boat so I purchased a new aluminum bow brace ($50) that I haven't installed yet. I also added a plastic block on the transom for mounting a transducer to it, an aluminum fish finder mounting bracket, some cleats and a battery box. The boat is wired for an Eagle Ultra Classic fish finder, which comes with the boat. I am also including a Garmin 240 fish finder, 2 folding seats and a NIB swivel seat mount. I also added four 2" velcro straps to the seats for holding fishing rods. This boat is registered thru May 2018.
  12. More pics. I also have 2 plastic battery boxes and a red jumper cable for connecting 2 batteries together for the 24v connection. The prop is in excellent shape with no dings or damage.
  13. SOLD *open to trades for fishing equipment such as Penn manual downrigger, rods, reels, lures, etc* This motor came off my 19ft Sea Nymph center console boat. It comes with a custom made bow mount because it is a transom mount motor with a 45" shaft. It's an older motor but it runs like a champ! It had no problems moving my 19ft CC around while bass fishing. I sold the boat this came off of, and the buyer didn't want this motor. I have no use for it so it needs to go. It has been garage kept since last summer. I used this motor this year before I sold the boat.
  14. But without the dipsy rods in the water we couldn't get a rigger to fire. Crazy..!
  15. A big THANK YOU to Little Crappie for a great fishing trip today! We finished with 6 kings that were caught in a span of 2.5 hours. Total fish weight was 100.2 pounds.
