  2. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha - Tank man what is up!!!!! That is too freaking funny. Eyes watered on this one! Or the time your mom came out in the canoe when we were trolling and she.... Or the small pile of carrots right off Lightohouse.
  3. Here is a Vid of some earlier season action. Notice how shallow. Try a place just West of Lighthouse Beach. Take State Parkway past Hamlin Parma Townline Road and before Sandy Creek. The stream is called CowSucker Creek. Hit the mouth of that for some serious Brown action.
  4. Defiantly need to know what part of the lake. If your in the Braddocks area - You could be set up in several locations. Welcome to the North-East. - What brought you here?
  5. Can anyone attend? I would like to get involved in one of the projects either on the Genny or Sandy.
  6. Sure does Stan. Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  7. I found this video and had to upload it to my site. Its a father who never gave up on his son. Very nice story. If you got few minutes its well worth it.
  8. Ok, I live right on Lake Ontario. I have a hoist and a Bass tracker right in my front yard. Last summer 8/2 on a gorgeous Saturday night, I decided to take the boat out of my hoist and tie it up on a buoy I had right by the hoist. All I would have to do is jump in the boat Sunday morning and Im off fishing. Done it several times. Water that night was like glass. Good to go! As I was sleeping, My wife and I woke up around 3:30am to noticed our blinds in our bedroom moving inward which immediately told me a North East wind. It couldn't be, The weather man said Westerly. I went out to look at he boat and sure enough, It was rocking and rolling. After several minutes of observing, I decided to let it be seeing it was taking the waves quite well. So I went back to bed. 6:30 am I woke up and immediately looked out. All I saw was my engine. *%$#! After gathering countless friends and family (5 hours of work) I finally had my sand filled boat back on the hoist. This is where I notice my tackle box full of 500+ lures etc was gone. We had a search party walking the banks, walking the sand bar etc. and Nothing ! As far as I know, Its still out there. The post "Small Town USA" brought me back to that day. He got his back and I'm still replacing! Moral is - Nature is in control always.
  9. Great Story! Sounds like you dropped them somewere on Norton Street or Avenue D?
  10. I just read through the Jan. 2009 meeting minutes from the NYS Conservation Fund Advisory Board. It appears that all proceeds from the Trout and Salmon stamp are going directly to the Main Conservation fund. What does that fund entirely, Not sure. I think it should be specifically distributed to the conservation and health of our trout and salmon fisheries. Next year they will probably come up with a Bass Stamp.
  11. bigredmf I absolutely agree. If this increase it put forth on conservation measures, Then I would be for it. I don't mind investing in my kids and grandchildren's future in fishing/hunting.
  12. Just wanted to see what you guys think about the new proposed $10.00 Salmon and Trout Stamp Governor Patterson wants to budget in?

  14. RUNNIN REBEL I saw the 3 guys fishing there as well. The guy in the orange jacket stood out. I heard the only place you can enter is through Dewey storage. ABSOLUTELY - Stay away from the channel. Even of there is Ice on it. Thanks Rebel and Cheers
  15. If you know the Pond, Has anybody ever tried Ice-Fishing it?
  16. Agree with Nitro NitroMusky. Summer time the big ones are not in those warm water bays etc... I find them in 20 - 30ft shoals on Lake Ontario. Brown Deer-haired Jig works for me.
