The big fish was about five pounds, the rest in the 19-20 inch range which makes for great table fare. Fished 4 oz. inlines on braid back about 80-90 feet just about bouncing off the bottom with harnesses. I think I'll stay here in the Buffalo area until things get hot again.

Tried outside and could not get anything going, fished 75-110 fow for three hours without a hit trolling harnesses and spoons. So I went back to what I do best, fishing bottom on structure. Found bait and some fish on the bottom in 45-57 fow. Got out the heavy stuff and things worked out. Took five nice eaters in a little over an hour. Saved what could have been a very dissappointing day after an hour drive.

Thinking about giving it a shot tomorrow. Have not fished out of the Buffalo area yet this year and may take a ride to check things out. Weather pending. Any info would be appreciated. I typically have good luck out of Dunkirk well west. Have never launched at Barcelona. PM me if you want.

Same way on Friday for me, three in the box in 45 minutes right off the bat the sheepies and bass for three hours...

Hey Guys! New to the board here. Well I just bought a small aluminum last year, 16ft. with a 30hp 4S. I usually fish walleyes and bass on Erie but really want to try for some shoreline browns and coho this year. I have a set of Church Tackle Inlines and plenty of sticks in various colors. I have the week after easter off (its nice being a teacher) and plan on getting out that week. Just looking for some tips as far as speed and presentation go. Any locations better than others? How about water temps? Wilson or Olcott? Wind Direction? Any info is greatly appeciated. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can put a few footballs in the boat.
