  1. Over 50 blades, a mix of sizes shapes and colors. $25 shipped to your door. Great for somebody getting started tying their own harnesses.
  2. Buffalo bite off windmills was dead today, at least for us and from what I saw. We boxed two and I only saw one other net move with all the boats out there. The bonus jumbo perch we caught helped out a bit, some coming as shallow as 25 feet.
  3. What material is it made out of? Think it would be possible to mount that to a 3/4 inch stainless steel center console rail?
  4. Do you have any pics? How much for shipping?
  5. The flags are useful for walleye fishing where they can bite light and swim with a bait or when yellow perch, white perch, and silver bass are a nuisance. From my experience, you will not need them for lake o like others have said unless you pick up a skippy. I've had boards get ripped 30 feet backwards in a split second, you'll know.
  6. For what its worth, I can usually pick it up on my older Lowrance. It shows up as a thin line, almost like your down rigger ball tracking. As I really only fish the lake a few times and usually for browns, I concentrate more on finding bait where that thermocline meets the bottom. I also have a little temp reader that I'll send down before I start fishing to check the temp.
  7. Brown bite died out because of the crystal clear water inside. Surprised you didn't pick up any Lakers that seems a little odd. Spoons run around that speed is always good for a few.
  8. Can those be used in different Scotty mounting bases. I have the No. 241 Side/Deck combo mount and use with the rail adapters. Do the extensions pop out to be used with other bases?
  9. When the water it clear it can be very difficult. Sunday we boated 4 brown before 9 am then once the sun got high it died completely. So we slid out and caught some lakers in 40-70 fow and a coho as well until we called it a day around 11.
  10. Good Morning... If anybody by chance happens to get a look at the Lake today along the Niagara Orleans County shoreline can you please give an update on conditions. Looking for water color conditions I would like to drive up in the morning for browns but have a feeling there has not been enough wind/rain this week to keep enough color in the water. Let me know if you can, thank you. I've learned clear water conditions make extremely tough brown conditions.
  11. If the water is clear fishing can be very difficult. 100-125 foot leads are typical for me. Finding water with color is more important than anything. I find that if I'm in about 6 fow and I can just barely make out the bottom = lights out brown fishing.
  12. F9 raps blk sil, blk gold, chart sil, perch, hot steel, ft.
  13. Hey guys, New to Lake Ontario. Looking for some information on fishing thermal bars. I have only fished the lake for browns in spring and summer. Generally speaking what time of the year do the thermal bars set up? Is it difficult to locate them? How far offshore, what depth can they be found around? Tips on fishing around the thermal bars as far as tackle and techniques go? Any and all info is greatly appreciated, I'd like to give this a try sometime. I'll just have to pick my day wth my small 16 foot tinner.
  14. Duo lock snaps. Tie with a palomar knot and lure changes are a cinch.
