  6. Good to hear it. That why I ask if your prop had open ports in it. I think you can still make some gains with dropping the motor a bite I can run mine at 1/2 throttle and do 40. At least you are back! It is so frustrating when they don’t run right.
  7. If it's 9 I would move my motor down a hole. mine is between 8-7 , 8-8 Because My boat is loaded heavy. With 3 guy avg. 265# and it most times full of fuel it's a heavey load. Most salmon boats are loaded heavy.... Hell just one of my spoon boxes would be 50# lol
  8. Really not that hard start with the motor I have seen boat dealers install them wrong and costumers assume they did it right. If that's good just go get an inertia prop and game over. I have used the power tech props and they are good but the inertia is the better of the props for that boat. I have power tech's on another boat and it is the best for that boat. should be more than a 15 min job.
  9. Also I’m sure you checked but was your motor installed correctly? Measure the plane with the motor down. The motor plate should be in line with the bottom of the boat. If it’s not installed right I will not matter what prop you have.
  10. Your prop could be out of tune as well. Have you sent it to get checked? https://bblades.com/# i used this guy to buy mine. He said if it doesn’t work send it back. No need it work just like he said.
  11. Dose your prop have air holes in it? Mercury props have air ports to help put air around the prop to create area for the prop to spin. If you have openings on it and your prop is spinning to fast it will wash out. I need them open on my bass boat to get it moving but I don’t on my Fishmaster.
  12. I have a 17p inertia prop on mine will flip the boat backwards no slip. 58mph with me 52 three guys and all the gear. But it and don’t look back.
