  1. Well I was assuming the white wire is simply a different coloring scheme indicating that the wire was a negative. Anyway I tried running the wires to the battery as you suggested (just two connects to each battery) but that did not work. So I will try running the Orange to the pos post of battery 2 in the series but what then would I do with the white wire? [ Post made via Android ]
  2. Hey guys I am no electrician but let me show you my problems via pictures so you can better understand my issues you can see here I am wiring up a system for my motorguide Brute 67 here is the foot pedal with the 12/24 volt selection now you can see from these pics that I have the batteries wired in series with the jumper running from one battery to the other, now here is the confusing part.I am working with a four prong outlet and it has four wires running to the back. So by wiring the batteries in series I am effectively not using these two cables. these are the cables. So these cables are colored orange and white while I have the main black and red cables wired to the batteries. So here you can see the four wires come to the back of the four prong female outlet. They are all there but the black is hidden behind the red a little bit and the smaller wires run to other gauges up front but they are irrelevant. So now its apparent that the orange and white are attached for some reason. Now you can see here with the batteries wired up with the red and black cable and in series it is giving out alot of juice. My meter up front cant go any higher and would seem to indicate that 24v are indeed being produced. So here is the male four prong plug. Anyway now that I know I have juice up front I plug the motor in and press the pedal and I get nothing! I have no clue why I am getting nothing and I think it might have something to do with the nonuse of the white and orange wires. Please help!

    laker help

Hey guys I just wanted some info on how to ice lakers on either canadice or hemlock. Basically I just want to know if you can fish the lake trout with out all the fancy equipment. I don't have a vexilar unit and I don't have special jigging rods. I realize you need heavier gear so I figured I would spool up the rods I have and grab some tubes and swedish pimples. my plan would to be to drill a hole jig it up and down the water column for around 20 minutes and if nothing is home keep moving. what would you guys recommend for putting the lakers on the ice? 7. Hello gentlemen, I am posting this tractor for my father who is selling this fine machine. This tractor is in top condition, but is receiving very little use. It was originally intended for extensive hunting land management, but we just never got around to it. As a result this powerful ,pristine tractor has received little use (other than being used as a amazing winter plow!). This tractor has the power and to meet all the demands of NY weather and workloads. It is perfect for farmer, hunter, or anyone who wants the reliable, dependable John Deere brand for their very own. This is a top quality machine that cost a pretty penny and has been used very little. As a result we are listing the tractor for $30,000 but would be willing to hear some offers. The tractor comes with the standard rear weight box as well as the standard bucket and we will throw in a high quality snowplow attachment. This tractor will be a year round workhorse and provide excellent value for its future owner! For a complete list of specifications on the tractor please visit this link http://www.deere.com/specsapp/CustomerSpecificationServlet?sbu=CCE&pciModel=4720%20LV&displayModelName=4720%20Compact%20Tractor%20(66%20hp)&tM=GC&pNbr=686DLV. This is a serious machine for serious buyers, if you are interested please call 585-750-8716 or PM me. Here are some pictures

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: Total Boated: Species Breakdown: Hot Lure: Trolling Speed: Down Speed: Boat Depth: Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== So I headed out to troll Sandy this morning and did pretty well. We Trolled from the creek to the pump house and back to the creek, covering 15 to 30 FOW. We went 5 for 8 with two salmon, two browns and steelhead. We ran sticks off the planer boards and the riggers with firetiger and black and silver doing the best for us. Enjoy the pics [ Post made via Android ]
  13. Lots of pike in sandy creek right now. Perch x rap doing the trick [ Post made via Android ]
  14. Put a hurtin on the perch and sunnies out of Canandaigua on the north end, and got some bonus smallies to boot.
  15. Got this Mamma right at the entrance of the yacht club on a perch pattern x rap. Sandy is very overlooked for pike and my buddy and I consistently do well right around that yacht club.
  16. wow that is awesome! I think I have an idea as to why you are nailing those walleye during certain times of the year and why only at night. My buddies and I noticed this spring and actually quite late into the spring we ran into some really nice walleye right at the mouth of sandy creek. Now this was very interesting as we never really run into walleye but it got me thinking that obviously with the cold water the bait filled and warmer creek was the way to be. But after the conditions switched we would still run into the walleye first thing in the morning. I have to imagine that those fish move deep and roam outside there respective creek mouths waiting for a a few degree temp change (night) to come into the more bait concentrated areas aka the creeks and bays. Now I have often speculated why we don't catch more walleye around this area in Lake O and honestly I just think that they suspend in right in the Brown trout zones but dont bite because the offering for BT's and the speed of the troll is not conducive to walleye. I would be intrigued to see if a all night vigil at any of the local pier mouths with minnows or crawlers would be a good way to put more walleyes on the shore or heck even a midnight troll might work wonders. Anyway thanks for the awesome reports!
  17. Ah see I figured as much. I need to find those places where I know the lakers will be and until then I am stumbling in the dark. Well not to intrude to much but could you possibly PM me with some general info on Cana Laker jigging? Just trying to pick a new method up and keep myself entertained when the fishing in Rochester bores me
  18. Ah ok that is good info to know. I have a question for you though, when jigging for the lakers what does your screen look like? Do you jig to isolated marks or are you looking for four to five grouped up?
  19. So my dad and I drove from Rochester to jig for smallies and lakers which we heard are pretty abundant in the lake. Now I have researched for some time on how to jig lakers and the DEC report said that the jigging was good in 110 FOW. However the screen was desolate out that deep and no marks were present, so we motored into the shallower water around 30 FOW and despite seeing great humps and ridges with marks on them we could not get the fish to take. We threw tubes, worms, cranks, you name it but we came up empty. We moved back deep and marked fish in seventy feet of water. We got one hit and then nothing. Discouraging day to say the least as I am a pretty competent fisherman and I totally whiffed. Any insights into why we did so poorly? Also we were in the south end. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  20. Hey guys if anyone of you is thinking of getting rid of a leadcore rig please let me know! PM or comment on this thread to let me know so I can take it off your hands!
  21. Bloodshot your the man! Thats exactly what I needed to hear
  22. Hey guys I was just wondering if any of you know about the walleye in the reservoir above the Waterport dam on the oak. Now I know they are in there cause I have seen them stacked up on the a few key drop offs and points around the lake but I want to know if there are some concrete facts around targeting these fish regularly. Everyone seems to be super opposed to talking about the walleye in that body of water and all I could get out of a resident is that they were there but he would not say anything else. Gonna explore the lake a little bit but I was just wondering if you guys had any helpful info about the walleye there.

    First Carp!

The slider rig is exactly what we are doing! I actually got a few more fish today for my younger brothers and what I ended up doing was splitting a green twig halfway open and pinching it on the line. When the fish pickup the stick pops on the first guide and the fish just keep taking line. Worked pretty dang well but I like the bobber idea!
