  1.    Launched out of Taughannock Park, headed north of the Boy Scout camp. Trolled north....found tons of baitfish.....from 50-100 ft. of water. Set out 2 dipseys....one 255 ft.,  one 300 ft. I assume they were down 75-85 ft. or so. Maybe 90? All fish came in 80-100 ft. of water. I love fishing for lakers......Small Sutton spoons.........caught 5 fish (fat...between 5 and 7 lbs.)....not bad. Then, an incredible hit...I thought my rod would break. I literally could not move the fish.....finally it tugged....it felt like a tail snag....I had to stop the boat to even move it. SLOWLY it came to the boat. It was like pulling up a barn door....(ever been to Alaska for Halibut?)......bottom line?  14 lbs.!!!  Not bad for Cayuga!
