  1. i agree with the fingerlakes LL fishing. can get some pretty fish, yet a bunch of small ones! either lower the size, or increase the stocking size, maybe even try stocking some more baitfish? I'm sure many things can be done. It would be nice to have something done, we all know the dec is aware of the situation..but maybe our governor has something to do with that? i saw a few LL's that were in the nine pound range this yr! not on my boat though, biggest for me was 5:( Tight lines everyone!!

  4. agreed, they are a nice fish, i dont get why ppl keep such a rare fish, i fish lamoka mostly, never got a musky, but some pickerel i have gotten sure are chewed up...

  6. i use some of these practices, but i believe i just learned alot more! i wanna get out and try them now..im setting up my little boat as we speak to try these out. i have a bad itch to troll. winter really sucks!!

  9. i have the folding wooden ones right now, they dont track as well as they used too, i heard the plastic ones track great, but then again..i would really like to get the big jon otter boats!!

  11. you can make one but thats more weight, try ebay, some good deals on there, maybe a local marina might have a used one, i actually think i know of one. my buddy old boat has one on it, not in use anymore, want me to look into it?

  13. sounds like you made out good! i got a deal just as good! its a nice feeling! used to have a trophy hard top, definately nice to have. i bet you could get a custom one done for under 1500

  18. ray, i think i can manage a bunch of ten footers! :sarcasm: this past summer a guy tossed me ten foot rope to tow him back to the marina down the canal, i was able to manage to dig mine out, and he didnt even say thanks for the tow!!!

  21. i have looked into the humminbirds! i am leaning towards a 587 or 580 series? they seem decent and affordable! thank for the input! tight lines!!!

  24. i like your trophy, i miss mine, almost identical to yours, big jons? i like their retrieve rate, however the cannons are nice with the auto stop leaving the weight in the water
