They will come...don't be afraid to Change things up. Some days a certain color produces everything...some days its a spoon bite the next it all meat or fly's... I bought a fish hawk and seen my production rise dramatically. Speeds a big thing especially with all the current that's out there...don't get discourage we were all where you are...they will come...just keep at it

Plastics might work if you have drag set right...I had a 10 rainbow on hemlock lake snap a cannon plastic.. Luckily it landed in my lap...but was my fault for not having drag set right

Replace your missing pole reel with a wire setup. No stretch and you can set, will need to set the drag a lot lighter. Dipsys and mono are just not a very good combination.

Only thing that makes me crazy. Well two things. People that park in the turning loop. I need every inch of turn at the launch with my boat and it makes me crazy when guys are setting up, un strapping, and park to fish down there. Second is the people fishing of the dock. Some are courteous and most think your in their way when you come in to the dock....... When the salmon run I stop using Sandy and go the river or Eagle Creek Marina which is located perfect between the Oak and Sandy.

I use to troll with my 5.7 merc and trolling bags on each side brought it down 1.8 mph... since i have bought a 9.9 Yamaha four stroke. .let me tell ya it won't take long for it to pay for it self in gas saved... And boy is it much more quiet
