  1. Good show!!! Got some good stuff and some deals...can't wait to try out the bay rats...I was fortunate enough to preorder some BT candies...they said they sold over 250 of them...only bad part was not enough youngsters there...its sad what the worlds coming to...parents and there electronics...its not the kids fault the parents taught them...if ya get the chance take a kid fishing...doesn't have to be your kid...I have a friend who's 5 year old daughter is my best ice fishing partner... She caught a 5 to 6 lb laker on Keuka last year ...was my favorite fish ever... Priceless

  2. Well said Les... No fish is worth taking the plunge for...Lots of springs out there and they can be dangerous first ice...I use to fish on 2 inches of ice but not anymore...good luck to all in the derby and stay on top!!!

  3. Very nice!!! Do you have a web site??? I got a 81 inch hammerhead down in fort Lauderdale that's being mounted at grays taxidermy in Florida...the captain of the charter said it would cost me around $500...in the end with shipping in cost just under $2300...should be here next month... Wife wasn't real impressed...she will be even less impressed when I take down her home interior to put it in the wall...lol. .I would like to do a brown trout mount this spring like the Atlantic you did...I'll let wife catch it then they'll be no problem getting the mount done... Lol

  4. Ice fishing doesn't look good for quite awhile...50 to 60s again next week...they are saying maybe 60 for Christmas day... Boats still out and have had excellent luck with browns and rainbows in the local creeks...but they all close on the first of year...might be a long winter for us ice fishermen...2 back to back years of jigging Lakers on Keuka and Canandaigua has spoiled some of us...damn was hoping for 3

  5. I fish mostly the finger lakes year round...but we are in Miami this weekend to see cowboys dolphins game and decided to go out on a 4 hour sport fishing charter...the captain asked what I'd like to catch and I said a shark...he laughed and said not the right time of year for sharks...two hours in and not a bite to be seen...I hooked this 81 inch hammer head...half hour later we boated him...definitely a fish of lifetime for me...we measured him and tagged him and released him...the cool thing is with the tag in if anyone catches him again they will let know when and where and how big he is...took lots of photos and measure ments and he will be on my mantle in 3 months the taxidermist says...my Xmas present my wife says...lol...sorry to put here but just had to share as I fish with s bunch of you on the finger lakes
