I had to head out of town after our charter on Saturday. Glad to see you did well.

The fun starts when you've got 5 lanes trolling east/west and some moron wants to cut north/south. That'll be during the summer derby...

Looks like it should have been closer to 25. Sucked dry...

Slow but put one good king in the boat. Everybody's in the same area, northeast of the pumohouse

How's the screen looking? We'll be out in the morning - wondering what all this west wind has done...

Then there's the question of whether they produce better on the front (line side) or the rear (hook side) of the spoon. I remember that being argued a couple seasons back...

Ugly Stick, Heartland, Okuma - no need to buy an expensive rod. Put the money you save into a better reel with a higher retrieve rate.

We'll be out Sunday morning, out of Sandy Creek. I hope we get into some kings - the spring brown bite has been amazing but I want to hear some drag!

His profile says he's in Brockport, NY

From the reports I've seen, the fishing's been good between Sandy and the Genny, 20 to 50 fow. Whether that's true by this weekend is the question.

That's what I was wondering. Figured Lou could have put the boys to work ..

We (Forever Young) were out Sunday afternoon from I-Bay east almost to Webster Park and the water color (and debris) was some of the worst I've ever seen. That west wind pushed all the Genny outflow straight to I-Bay. We had 55-60 degree surface temps, couldn't see a ten pound ball a foot down and the color line was almost two miles out. There were so many trees arranged along the color line, it looked like they'd been planted.
We actually found a great screen 20-30 fow off Shipbuilders but couldn't buy a bite. I doubt they could see a thing we had in the water - plus debris kept fouling our rigger cables and tripping our lines. I heard about the bite west of the Genny but we had limited time and didn't make the run.

Rob, Great report. The browns were active in close as well. Upon pulling rods we stepped out into 30 ft and had a major rip off the rigger 20 ft down. We fought it for a while then lost it I took the boys out last night and the shoreline had decent color but not as good as Sunday. It was a tough bite. The bait was in heavy again. A few of the browns were spitting up alewives as we were netting them. My boys were having fun catching the alewives by hand off the dock!! WTF.....
Ever consider grabbing a season's worth, brining and freezing them?

More memorable than "Mortigan's metal silvery-greenish glowy spoon" would be...

They must have been camera-shy

That's a beauty!

On Android, I've been using the Navionics app most. I use Notes for a catch log; I like that I can either type or use voice recording.
