Cuba's on the bucket list but I shoulda done it in the eighties, knocking around dominican republic. Read US cracking down lately on sidetrips from Canada & Mexico.

I'm slow. Got it, thanks.

That's Vince Pierleoni = www.teamthrillseeker.com.

$1000 fine from our own government for daring to ignore an embargo almost as old as I am...
-
Cannons to the left of me, cannons to the right? LOL> Wonder how a small icebreaker would work for trolling? Just set your course and look for floating wreckage later...
-
hasn't been updated since 8/9 am though...

I stopped by Point Breeze for the first time this summer and wonder how I missed it all these years. It's a nice harbor and the fishing's great. Might have to check out renting a cottage for me and the Mrs next year.

Thanks, Tom.

I'm scheduled for a morning charter out of Sandy Creek (Southern Shore, central). I'm hoping we just get some mild rain and wind and the thunderstorms hold off til the afternoon.

Was that with the Go Pro Hero HD? Very cool footage, especially combined with the handheld.

Tom hit the nail on the head. I run blacks realeases and for the probe its on the rigger cable above it and I just hold it in place with a small planer release. If you run the line off the back of a shark or torpedo it will not track right cause you'll be pilling the rear up when you tighten down your rod

Is the same true off a basic cannonball? We've been running straight off the ball and have had some sucess but aren't experienced enough to really know the difference. This is our first year trolling.

That was exactly the problem. Thanks, Gambler.

On the link that daker1979 posted?
-
Sorry, daker1979 - those are the Pro/Am results from earlier this year.
Scott - thanks for the derby info. Much appreciated.

I know what you mean. I got my Mathews MQ-32 free from the North American Hunting Club but until then had been perfectly happy with my Golden Eagle. Now I'm married and own a mortgage - I'll never have that kind of spare change.
-
I just looked too and don't find anything posted online yet.
-
I just looked up the tweet too. That hurts but it's an achievement to brag about.

I know the feeling. How about this feeling? .....Three days to go in the Fall LOC 2010 and I net a 39#12oz king for a 19 year old girl that didn't bother buying a derby ticket "...'cause we're only fishing one day!"

Thanks. Sounds like they were all over the place this weekend.
-
Lol - You don't want to spend the entire summer in Fayetteville? Welcome home.

I'm six foot and 320 - my choices are limited but I'm my own flotation device. If I dump my Patriot Angler, I doubt if I'm getting back in again. It's big & stable but I'm not thrilled with it; I just got a deal I couldn't refuse.
-
That's great. How deep did you have to go to find marks?

Just got done sizing up my new Z7 at Indian Mountain... Cant wait to shoot it.
I wonder if they make a Block archery target that floats? We could all bring our bows tomorrow...
