Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name:Outlaw ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):7/1 Time on Water:8:30 to 11:30 Weather/Temp:choppey Wind Speed/Direction:NW Waves: 1 to 3 Surface Temp: 70 Location:secret LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 10 Total Boated:9 Species Breakdown:browns and kings Hot Lure: gator spinny for kings, drity white boy for browns Trolling Speed: Down Speed:2.6 to 2.1 Boat Depth:100ish or less Lure Depth: the bottom ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS A late start didn't seem to be a problem. head west out around the break wall to turn and troll with the weather. we ran half the spread for browns, and half for kings. to my surprise we pulled a 1 to 1 ratio of king vs browns even with the water on the bottom as high as 68. the bait in tight was almost comical. tons is an under statement.the king where of a good class 15 to 18 range but no monsters. the browns where beastly over 10 # with the big one at 15.05 and sitting 4th on the board. off the water by 1130 so not a bad 2 1/2 trip. we don'run alot of moonshine spoons but the RV Crabface seem to be a real winner for browns. ==================

We didn't get on the water until 10 am. So we motor out to 70 in front of the wall. Turned to a 90 on the compass, and set the auto pilot (we call it uncle Ray, uncle Ray Marine) to set lines. By the time the third line hit thr water we had the boats first fish on in about 120 fow on 79 rigger pulling a moonshine carbon 14. It was a nice 10# stealie! The next fish was another nice stealhead on 51 rigger pulling a nk b&s killer on free slider. It jumped line rapping its self up pretty good. So it took a little while to get it in. I had to kick uncle ray out of the drives seat and circle the fish. The next one was on the nk SSW on the fixed slider 20 over the carbon 14. that spoon at 59 on fixed slider took 4 fish. We boat the first king on the 220 dipsy pulling the woneber bread spinny set on 2. Turned around and keeped picking them up steady, nothing worth talking about unless you like fat lazy lake trout from the deep rigger 150 to a 100. Our buddy fathead (name says it all) lost 2 on the wire, one semmed nice. Then fatty land an 11# king on the copper 500 pulling the 72 monty.Picked up a few more then the rigger 51 fired! ian and myself both went for it ,and he said take it. i reeled up the slack (he was on the free slider) in the line, and when it got tight it started screaming!!! from 71 on the counter to 450ish. On the way back in he found the 500 copper, but it didn't matter in the net and on the deck!

Team Game Face replied to Curro's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
Maybe check out Bretts place on the bay. they have some nice combo for a good price. -
It was fun watching you guys do your thing on sunday! Really took me to school on the meat riggs. Anyone who wants to learn form some of the best lake O has to offer then you sould observe for a turney. The stuff I picked up was worth way more than the money, who couldn't use a 150 bucks. Thanks for the great exrerience...... ps don't forget your gum bands!!
