  1. Launched a little late outta Severne, 9am . Set up a pair of ten color lead core and two 7 color on inline boards. Two riggers with cheaters and popped the speed up to 3.1 sog. Didn't get all lines out and the rigger was bouncing. Bow after bow, nothing huge but we landed 8. One small brown and a keeper Salmon also. Threw down a paddle with an UV wild child and picked a Laker to complete the slam!
Keeping a few details out on purpose cause of the upcoming FLTA tourney..

  2. Not trying to hijack thread but Mike I was wondering what ugly stiks you use for coppers and lead core cuz I was hoping to start converting to all ugly sticks as well as I had mentioned a couple weeks ago on fb. I've always been an ugly stik fan so it won't take much convincing for me

They are Ugly Stick BWD 1101 9" I believe they classify them as downrigger rods all my boards and coppers I run on these rods and also use them as downrigger rods on Lake Ontario.. Best Rods you can get for the money hands down.

  3. Shout out to Bellis tackle cowbells and iron duke trolling flies Would like to give a shout out to these 2 great companies for offering quality products that have put alot of fish in my boat the past few weeks.

First I'd like to thank Mike Burt with iron duke flies as he created a custom fly that I asked for last year that has been absolute destruction on landlocks and Lakers since the first time I ran it last year on Cayuga. The fly works so well I rarely leave it out of the water in a fishes mouth long enough to take a pic however I did take one of a beautiful colored Laker not that long ago with it but I will say that this fly runs great and catches fish on alot allot of different spin doctors. Thanks again Mike  (pics attached)

And last but not least thanks to Josh Bellis of Bellis tackle for putting out awesome cowbells. These cowbells have taken me from saving bottom dragging as a last resort do to the terrible fight Lakers put up with most cowbells do to the drag created by the blades to really enjoying this method of putting fish in the box. These things create less drag than a spin doctor and out fish the other sets (wont mention names) that ive ran them beside. (Pic attached) if you havent saw these yet check them out at bellistackle.com

Sorry guys that I didn't include pics of some of the bigger fish we've been catching on your gear but we've been to busy fighting fish to snap pics.

Thank you very much Bob. I just make them you guys still have to figure out what depths to deploy them to and figure those fish out each trip...So great job on you and your crews behalf... And yes I highly recommend Bellis Tackle Cow Bells to anyone who hasn't run them they are a world of difference in drag compared to traditional cow bells..

    Thanks for your support

  6. Started out about 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning doing a little pre fishing four the FLTA event on Sunday.. We launched out of Dean's Cove and set up heading out towards the middle we ran six rods a 3 color core, a 200 copper, 2 riggers and 2 dipsy's... Once set up we trolled a bit before our dipsy's started firing left and right they were actually hitting them as we were resetting them on the way down.. We were field testing a new Iron Duke fly and that fly was on fire and continued to stay on fire all weekend.. We had a little extra time to play around on Saturday so I actually ran a couple other flies that are pretty good flies down on the same setting and the same amount of wire out and they did not compare to the new fly we are field testing.. This fly was absolutely lights out.

    SUNDAY

Launched out of Dean's Cove again this time we ran right to the spot we had located the fish at the day before and set up shop running 3 cores, 3 coppers, 2 riggers, rig rods and dipsy's.. Let's just say the fish were still there and it took us over 2 hours to get our complete spread in the water.. We were trying our best to cull our box of fish so that we can return anything that we weren't going to weigh in back to the lake but that became extremely tough though at times.. There was one time where we had seven fish on at once.. We were able to locate a decent salmon and a decent Brown also caught a couple smaller rainbows which completed our grand slam for the day..Bellis Program Spoons caught most of our silvers.. We headed to weigh in with a decent box and ended up fourth overall for the tournament.. We dropped a couple decent Lakers at the back of the boat that probably would have put us over the top but hey that's fishing and it is what it is.. We caught close to 30 fish on Saturday and 62 fish on Sunday and dropped about 10 more.. I can honestly say this was the best day of fishing I have ever had on a Finger Lake, It was absolutely insane we actually contemplated taking rods out of the water so that we could get caught up on what we were trying to do LOL.. A day I will never forget. I will add a sneak peek of The Fly on here with the rest of the pictures that I have for the weekend it already has a name and I'll post it when I post it on the Facebook page and website.. Out of all the fish we caught for the weekend this particular fly caught 75% of the fish..

  7. Nice Rig!

Any pics of the interior seating areas?

Also I see you have planer reels attached to the hard top, are those included? Where are the pulleys located for them? Just curious how you set that up.

Location where boat can be seen?

I will try to get a picture of the seating area for you tonight.. Only one side has a planner reel and yes it's included in the sale, pulley is located up further on the rail so board pulls true out to the side..
