  1. I'm in the market for a newer year model power thrust Honda or high thrust Yamaha kicker 9.9 motor. I have found a brand spanking new one for a decent price but before I pull the trigger I was curious if anyone out there has any newer year models for sale, it has to be a high thrust or power thrust 4 stroke model.. Let me know if anyone has one their interested in selling

    Thanks

  2. Club tournament got cancelled due to water conditions on Seneca so a few boats from the club headed over to Cayuga instead to get some fishing in on what was going to be a beautiful day.. Launched out of Deans and didn't go to far before setting up shop.. We ran 2 divers 2 riggers 2 top lines 2 cores and 2 coppers.. We immediately get into some good salmon including one that hit a Golden Boy Fly and pulled a bit of drag on the wire dipsy then once he was near net range made a run under the boat and was gone definitely a 9 + lb fish but hey you can't land them all.. We settled in shallow with 3 nice Atlantics 2 coming on Bellis Tackle UV mixed veggie spoon and the other on a Bellis Tackle watermelon spoon.. Bellis Tackle Spoons not only catch the fisherman's eye but put them on the deck too, if you don't have some you better get some... We moved out deep to see if we could get a laker program going and shortly after sending the divers and riggers down to the marks the Golden Boy , UV Wild Child and Off Suit Flies behind spin doctors and flashers started hooking up with some real nice Lakers and continued to bring them to the boat the rest of the morning.. Ended up with a pretty healthy box of fish with many also returned to the lake to fight another day.. Overall great day on the water and can't wait to get out again

  3. Way to go guys!!! Glad that combo got the job done for you... The Aqua UV and UV Wild Child Flies have been getting it done this year so far and did extremely well for many last year.. They're great Flies to run especially on sunny days, the UV material real gives of a vibrant blue when in the water... Again awesome job guys some fish to definitely be proud of..

  4. Cayuga 4/9/2017 First trip with some new guys first time on the boat. Ended up with 6 lakers, 3 8lbers.  600' copper, purple dream weaver down 90' and wire rod with the Iron Duke " Quality Time" fly that was made in memory of my Son Ben did most of the damage. This rig took the biggest fish of the day although we dropped a bigger fish that was caught on copper at the back of the boat. Ran into Stinger and we were able to chat at the launch. Tight lines!   Wes

Great job.. That Fly fishes well.. Did some good work for me last year..

  5. We fished there today we launched out of Myers and ran South a little bit water is definitely High but not outrageous definitely have to watch out for debris, lots of big logs and tree branches floating in the water I definitely wouldn't suggest running down the lake on plane.. Conditions today were not good pretty strong North Wind but managed to put a few salmon in the boat good luck and be safe.

  6. Awesome job John !! Way to stick with it after tough fishing at first.. For those of you that don't know The UV WILD CHILD FLY this fish came on is named after John because of how well he did with it last year and looks like he's starting off strong again this year Congrats.. Awesome looking Custom Spin Doctor too from Bellis Tackle too, I think the Flies and those paddles are gonna be huge producers this year.. I don't belive Bellis Tackle has Custom Spinny's listed on there new website yet but definitely check out there new custom trolling spoons they are unbelievable in quality.. www.bellistackle.com

  7. One unseen kink in cable and she's bye bye too.. I run cable and have lost a probe it's the worst feeling in the world especially when your on fish and go back over the spot you broke off and it starts to read again lol.. I know many guys that run probes on braid and have no problems... Best bet is to constantly pay attention to braid or cable for any possible sign of weakness..

  9. One of my favorite shows was on the Fishing channel yesterday "Great Lakes Fishermen" I think they were fishing Michigan, it looked like the background was that city, anyway those Vectors were on the charter captains boat, and they talked about the durability of these riggers, also they had auto stop, automatically deploy to the same depth. These riggers will be my next set of riggers, oh, they also yo-yo and track bottom contours. The simplicity of these riggers also got my attention!! Plus they have costumer service line that someone actually answers [emoji38].  good luck with the sale and folks don't be afraid to purchase these riggers just because they are not a brand we all are familiar with, I just bought a set of mag 20's off a LOU member or I'd purchase these, put 2 on my boat, sell the other 2 and have my riggers paid for. LOL! Always have to be thinking ahead.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but vector was bought out by traxstech I believe and they started putting depth control and auto stops on them, they're basically the same rigger without the fancy Electronics added to them one of those new traxstech downrigger goes for around $1,500 each... Vector riggers are in extremely good shape and would make a great addition to anyone's boat who is looking for a four rigger setup or a three rigger set up with a backup...
