  1. Thanks for the info! Going to try my luck Monday. Hopefully I'm not dodging trees all day that got washed in. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Anyone launch from Treman Park in Ithaca lately? I have been watching the hydrograph, but that doesn't say much. Thanks!
  3. I live in Bloomsburg, Pa. I'm willing to drive a little for it. Thanks for looking.
  4. Not truly fishing related, but I am trying to track down a used 120-250 gallon horizontal propane tank. Preferably empty. I have tried calling all the scrap yards and propane dealers within an hour drive and haven't turned up anything. It doesn't have to be pretty, but I would like it to be structurally sound. I am planning on making a trailer BBQ pit out of it. I don't want to buy a new tank just to cut it apart. Thanks!! Cody
  5. Thanks! Nice to meet you yesterday. It was a pretty nice weather day on the lake today. Capt Mark got us fish, but he had to work for it. It seems like the days it's pleasant to be out never are easy days for fish! Enjoy the spoons. Cody
  6. Exactly! This is just this box though, I have this many or more in Plano boxes in the boat! It really is an illness
  7. I will be in Rochester this weekend and can meet up around there!
  8. Special Mate box with 155 spoons. Mixed lot of Northern Kings, Moonshines, Dreamweavers and others. I didn't use a single spoon out of this box last year, so I don't feel the need to keep it. Looking for $350 plus shipping or pickup.
  9. I am selling my 1998 Sea Pro 190wa. The basics: Hull - 1998 19' cuddy. Very clean, very good shape. No wood in the build, so nothing rotten! It has a few scuffs and dings, but good for it's age. Outboard - 2007 Mercury Optimax 150. I just bought this motor from Robbin's Marine in Milton, Pa and had them hang it. Strong running, good on gas. They said it came off a local, fresh water boat. I put a brand new Baystar hydraulic steering system on it after thy put the motor on. It all works great. It has an oil tank under the deck and a 55 gallon fuel tank with a filter/water separator on the line. The gas gauge and tank sending unit are brand new. I bought a new battery when I got the motor (more amp capacity for the fuel injection). Electronics - Lowrance elite 7 gps/sonar hooked to an Airmar thru-hull transducer 50/200. It has a Millenia am/fm/aux radio and a VHF radio. Trailer - 2015 Venture dual axle. It has surge disc brakes on both axles. Spare tire included! Other stuff - Bimini with full encloser. Front and sides are relatively clear. I have the back curtains, but not sure how clear they are. I've never used them. I had to clean the front and sides with Plastx because they were a bit foggy, but they cleared up well. I have a radar arch and kicker on it that aren't included in the sale. If you really want the arch, we can negotiate. The downriggers also aren't included, but I am leaving the cannon swivel bases on the boat. The only things included in the sale are he boat, mere outboard, lowrance 7, vhf and am/fm radio, Bimini and encloser and trailer. If you would like more pictures or have other questions, PM or text 570-eight5four-6365. Why am I selling? I have outgrown this boat and would like to go bigger. I am just recycling toy money to keep the wife happy. Thanks!
  10. Understand. No details needed. I didn't start this thread to berate or smack talk any local company. I was just hoping for a way to get ahold of them. I wouldn't even really care no getting a response but they have money from me for an order. [emoji13]
  11. That's fine and all, but why have a working website then? It's smart business just supplying stores. Way less of a headache!
  12. Does anyone know how to get ahold of finger lakes tackle? I've tried both numbers on the website and left a message, tried emailing and even a Facebook message with no reply. Does anyone have a number or email or anything besides what's on the website? I've been at it a couple weeks and can't get a response. I'm not sure what else to do besides poll the forum! Thanks!
  13. I can relate to the difference in fleas. Some days there were none, other days they practically stuck to the boat. It all depends. My current line doesn't appear to be degraded at all, but it's been a couple years. I don't abuse it at all and it isn't twisted up or sunburned. I'll probably take your advice and strip off the top 20 yards and go with it. Fresh leaders will probably be more of an investment than changing out the whole spool. I know I can find the 30lb big game mono anywhere. If push comes to shove, I'll have a marathon respooling and pick some up at Gander to hold me over.
  14. Hello all! I was running Bloodrun Seaflee for the past 2 years and need to change my main lines before season this year. Bloodrun is out of the bulk spools until July, so I am looking for suggestions on what everyone uses for line and how the fleas do with it? I have a dozen or so rods that need respooled so buying the little sea flee spools Bloodrun has really isn't cost effective. Thanks!
  15. Thanks for the number! I'll call first thing tomorrow.
  16. Hello all. I recently got a depth raider with a pair of used downriggers. It didn't come with a power cord. Does anyone know where to find a new power cord for it or have a spare one to sell? I am eventually going to sell the whole depth raider set, but I wanted to make sure it operated fine before putting it up for sale. Attached are pictures of the head unit. Thanks!
  17. That's definitely the truth, but you gotta have something to do after dark in the winter!
  18. Listing for a friend who works at an archery shop. This bow is insanely well maintained. Hoyt Pro Comp Elite. 50-60lbs, 27-30" draw. Right hand. Axcel sight with 4 and 6 power lens, dead center stabilizers and a rest. Just add your own arrows and such and it's ready to go. He's asking $1800. Message me on here or call/text him (Jeremie) at (five7zero)-490-8173 Indoor season is almost here! This bow will accurately kill some paper.
  19. I know I'm a bad person, but I snickered a bit. How can people not pay attention? In the river down home here, the jet skiers come within feet of your boat to jump off your wake. The rules and common courtesy seem to not apply to a majority of them. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Got lines in the water about 8am around Peach Orchard. Weaved back and forth between 75-200FOW. Ran a dispey/spoon, 2 leadcores 8 and 10 color, 2 riggers 51 and 61 down with stackers 20 feet up and a 300 copper. SOG was 3.0 or so, probe showed 2.3-2.8, temp varied, but generally mid 50's. We didn't move a rod for 3 hours. The fish and bait were all over our setup, but nobody wanted it. Finally around Glenora we picked up a dink laker on a flasher/fly down 51 in shallow 85 feet. Another laker came an hour later off the copper pulling a bull froggy frog in shallow also. Didn't mark much out past 90 FOW. All the bait and fish were in between 70 and 90. Beautiful day to be out, but the high pressure and hot weather must have the fish stunned. Watch out for all the kayakers! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. One of these days. We went 3 for 5 or 6. Fleas are definitely back in town. Weeds were sporadic, but messed with us a few times. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Another laker, 4lbs or so, same flasher fly down 40 over 150. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Slow. Picked a little landlocked off the dipsey out 180 on a FLT green alewife. About 1030, took a drag peeler off of a flasher/fly (both green). 12.5lb laker. SOG was 3.2, ball was 2.8.
