Kevin did you fish Krings , was wondering if you happened to see water temp. Thanks
-
Took another ride to see what was happening started french creek around 2 pm about a dozen people fishing stayed 1/2 hour or so seen 1 fish caught. Then drove up to krings point 5 or 6 boats and a dozen or so people fishing from shore I also tried from shore, seen 1 person catch 3 and it only looked like out of the 3 caught 1 keeper, any idea what the water temp is, thanks.

Thanks for the update Kevin.

Thanks for the update will try to get up there next weekend will report.

Was wondering if anybody has been to Krings yet, didn't get a chance to make it up there this weekend was wondering if it was fishable yet. Heard French creek is getting close also still has a skim of ice on it maybe a day or two depending on wind weather.
-
Took a ride today I would say weather permitting should be fishable by next weekend from shore and might be able to get small boat in.

Better hope the wind don't pick up any more than it is or it will be gone again . Hopefully with this weeks cold weather it will stay tight, Stay safe,

Congrats Kevin on your grandson.

I know Kevins post on the heavy BB a couple of years ago helped me catch a few more eys plus it gives you that one more option to go to when things get tough. I give Kevin and ProfT alot of credit they are fortunate to be retired and they get to live there passion on the water hunting and fishing. I don't want to rush my life away but I hope when I am able too retire I can also spend a great amount of time on the river. We are all very lucky there are people on this site that are willing to share info the way they all do also. Would still like to fish more mornings than I do but its hard when you only have the weekends so i try to get things done so I can go at night. Hoping that the bite stays good now that the summer is over and the river should quiet down. Good luck.

Way to go kevin.

Fished tonight managed 2 jigged first one with spoon just 18" then switched over to trolling heavy bb and rapala managed one more around 19" decided to throw them both back to live another day. Hope to try it again tomorrow night, there was hardly any boat traffic after 7 pm for being the last big weekend of the summer. Fished were caught in around 40 fow.

Gonna give it a try tonight as well as Monday night. Took last night off, for me it was to hot and no wind at least at home, seems to be looking for a nice nite even if the fish don't cooperate.

Way to go Roybee, my style of fishing , I would rather jig any day of the week but if trolling is more productive I guess we will troll. Hope to be down Friday night and sat or sun morning hope the weather is in our favor good luck everyone.

Way to go ProfT, have not got to go much lately due to grad.parties and family home visiting but cant wait to get back down there. I did go fri night for a little while and did manage to get one in 34 fow w/ 9oz bb and black and gold rapala speed was around1 to 1.2 against current. 24" I threw it back to catch another day good luck everyone.

Took my small boat to butterfield to try it out, picked up a 15 hp over the winter ran great water temp ranged from low 42's and high was 44.5 tried a few spots with no success just thought I would share, seen one other boat and it looked like they were having same results.
